"This chateau is nothing short of fabulous. The owner, Phillipe, is gracious and generous. The chateau itself is gorgeous and close to the small town of Evreux. I recommend going kayaking on the Eure river. It all makes for a relaxing respite from the bustling, overwhelm of Paris. Only one hour away by train, this place is absolutely a gem. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was."

"A historic gem. Our room was huge as well as the bathroom. It really felt like you were staying in a castle. It was spotless, so clean. And breakfast was fabulous with real linen and Royal Albert China. Breakfast was in the original 16th century kitchen. Just the most fabulous stay ! Make sure to ask to see the chapel. "

"I had the worst experience with a host. After I booked and paid through Vrbo, for 48 nights for 14 persons, the owner asked for an additional payment of 42% of the price. I thought it is unbelievable. I did not accept this, I wanted to cancel. After some days of messaging, when the emergency state was imposed in France and she realized she will not get other guests, she accepted my offer to pay a small additional amount and finalized the booking. "Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire à l'hôtel Aladin, très aimable et arrangeant. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propre, dans un cadre de nature verdoyant du Vexin. Aucun bruit la nuit, nous avons très bien dormi. Douche agréable, l'eau chaude est arrivé très rapidement. Un tout petit bémol concernant quelques accessoires manquant dans les chambres, du à la fin d'amménagement de l'hotel : miroir en pied sur porte chambre, tringle pour suspendre vêtements dans armoire, et...
