"This chateau is nothing short of fabulous. The owner, Phillipe, is gracious and generous. The chateau itself is gorgeous and close to the small town of Evreux. I recommend going kayaking on the Eure river. It all makes for a relaxing respite from the bustling, overwhelm of Paris. Only one hour away by train, this place is absolutely a gem. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was."

"A historic gem. Our room was huge as well as the bathroom. It really felt like you were staying in a castle. It was spotless, so clean. And breakfast was fabulous with real linen and Royal Albert China. Breakfast was in the original 16th century kitchen. Just the most fabulous stay ! Make sure to ask to see the chapel. "

"Lovely location. Nice room, indoor and outdoor pool was great. Friendly helpful staff, fresh bread available each morning, plus some other provisions from the shop. Would stay again."
