"Great stay with very kind hosts. This is a B&B type lodging where a married couple (Adelia and Wilmar) caters to your needs. You'll sleep in a comfortable hut on the island with more amenities than you'd imagine was possible while staying on a floating island: Hot water, running water, in-room propane heater, compositing toilet. Adelia and her sister serve tasty simple meals. Wilmar will shuttle you to/from the mainland and take you on a quick tour on his reed boat. The couple has done an amazing job creating everything on the island. The island itself, the solar panels, water pumps, drainage, fish farm, huts, etc. were all built by them. I had a wonderful time learning about their way of life and enjoying the breathtaking (literally and figuratively) views."

"This stay is on a floating island in Lake titicaca. As an experience it is amazing. However, be prepared that they only accept cash, the rooms are not heated, our stay on October 3rd 2024 was extremely cold. Nestor is a pleasant host, and gave us a tour of Uros island on our way back to shore. Note that the showers have limited access to hot water, and the toilet is a dry toilet, also there is no WiFi and limited cellular signal. Over all, the view and experience are amazing, but be prepared for an experience akin to camping, and be aware of the transportation limitations of being on a family run island in the lake. For those seeking adventure, this is great. For families seeking luxury, or even basic amenities, there may be better options."

"Staying on the Uros islands is highly recommended. The rate includes amazing breakfast and Dinners cooked for you. As well as boat transportation from Puno to the hotel. The staff arranged a tour for us to Taquile island and the rest of the parts of Uros islands. The cultural experience is amazing. The staff were so nice and attended to our every need. You won't get a chance ti stay on a floating island made of reeds anywhere else so we highly advise you to try it!"
