"This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions. "Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

"We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, also on the front door window, maybe a little curtain. Could also do with some new towels and bed linen, as they seem a bit worn and dated. These are only minor issues and we would definitely stay...

"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didnā€™t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work.
