"This was the first place l stayed at during my first visit to Bali. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings, with stunning views of the rice fields. Great feeling to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping. The villa itself was spacious, with beautiful furnishings. Staff were gracious and accommodating. "I didn’t get any sleep for the one night I was there because all the motorcycles were loud and going all night long. The bathroom was out by the pool but still attached to my room. It was open and I felt I had no privacy if I had to go to bathroom. You could hear everything. "

The buildings and pool are worse for wear, staff not as friendly, no footwear sign at open dining room but staff did not comply… I hate having bare feet on a restaurant floor. "If you are searching for total isolation, this villa is right up your alley. There are no taxi services and no restaurants other than the villa’s which has limited meal options. The villa is located in a farming and very poor part of Bali. The flies are constant which makes sitting outside uncomfortable. For meals, we ate in our room so as to elude them. We had three nights booked but only stayed for two."

"Very friendly helpful staff. The grounds and casitas are nice and the views of the lake and volcano are really nice. Of course, the flies are incessant in the morning. They seem to fade away in the afternoon and evening. The hotel is a short drive to the start of Mt Batur hike and you can hire a guide at this hotel. Highly recommend the hike. "The facilities were very poor. Not much transparency through the portal. Cleanliness was poor. The lock handle was coming out making the main door not being able to be locked. Hence, we couldn't go out. I request a refund compensation. "

"Everything was simply horrible. Incredibly rude, none of the amneties were provided as promised, and everything was dirty, or simply didn't work. Urine stains, no electricity, no water, no internet, provided towels were dirty. If you simply need a place to sleep, sleep with the cows out back instead."

"We stayed in the villa for 5 days. We were impressed and delighted at every turn. The staff was incredible and able to help arrange for all your needs. This location is beautiful. We did not have a car, but the staff was able to get us a driver for all our excursions and provided us with local take out and delivery options. We enjoyed every moment. "We stayed here one night, to catch fast ferry in morning. I was pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. Doesn’t look like much for the street but once you walk inside I was impressed. Their pools were beautiful. Great location to catch morning fast ferry only one mo tie walk! "

"The property is beautifully tucked within the village with the ocean at our doorstep! We were greeted with by the friendly staff and a welcome drink. The food was fabulous! The Chef came out and chatted with us. He was warm and friendly, like the entire team. The rooms were unique with the bamboo impressed architecture with mountain and ocean views. It was the peaceful escape we had hoped for. The drive there was complete sensory overload in the most delightful way, lush foliage bursting with village life throughout our 3.5 hour drive. It was a fantastic first impression of Bali for us!"
