"A beautifully set up unit - great for 2 people, we had 3 of us and it was a little awkward - we made it work, but wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night with more than 2 people. Great amenities provided, decent sized fridge, coffee machine and milk frother etc, but if you're a foodie and thinking of doing lots of cooking you probably want to bring some extra things (sharp knives, pots, oven trays...). Overall we loved it."

"Was a wonderful overnight stay to experience Matakana and surroundings for the weekend. The place was well presented and very well maintained and the local food was fantastic About the only thing I had an issue with is that the near transparent curtains ment the bedroom was fully lit by streetlights, although this also ment the sunrise was gorgeous"

"Great location, short walk to Matakana's main street. Secluded one-room apartment with pretty much anything you need. Check out the decorative birds on the walk around to the unit. Find the short-cut to the pub out the back. One off-street park. The only quibble is that there is not quite enough drawer storage for clothes etc. - the bedside tables are very small."
