"It’s a great place for a quick stay. Easy to get into. The steps to get into the main area are a little tough especially without a way to block them off such as a baby gate. Beds were soft, well stocked kitchen for easy use of items, relatively clean, very nice having laundry on site as well. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with."

"getting in was a bit of a hassle, did not get the code at first, but once we were in, so glad it worked out. Very cute cottage, very clean, lots of nice thoughtful extra items to use in case you forgot something. You could here the creek from the front porch and the backyard had a lot of nice areas to sit, and fun to explore all the extras, even though we did not have much time to enjoy it. "loved this property, secluded, quiet. Had everything we needed, coffee makers, utensils, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, to name a few. a couple of miles of the main road, but very scenic. Only negative, (and wasn't really a negative), the road to Harpers Ferry was out, had to use detour, and extra 20 minute drive, but was a beautiful detour drive!"

"1st time visiting the East Coast and our stay in this beautiful, quaint home was perfect! We felt the warm welcome as soon as we walked in and enjoyed the thoughtful complimentary items. The house was close to Harper’s Ferry & neighboring cities, lots to do in close proximity. Enjoyed the porch on our last night as we sat and listened to the rain and the sound of the river. Host was very attentive & prompt. Definitely recommend as a place to stay for a small family!"

It was quiet and very peaceful.Surreybrook gardens are a site to behold and their shop has so many wonderful things at reasonable prices.Home made scones were in the freezer when we got there and supplied specialty teas were enjoyed with them. We are so grateful we found this cabin. "
