"We spent a week here and went out everyday sightseeing and to different beaches, with lots of walks! Kamilari has a nice feeling about it, very friendly locals, some great Tavernas and a very well stocked supermarket. Not forgetting The Blues bar for cocktails! Vangelis and Tanya are really lovely people and the house was perfect Tanya even made me a birthday cake for my 60th!!"

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Everything about this place was wonderful. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful and meticulously well-maintained this place is. They clearly care about keeping it great shape, and it shows! Marina was very helpful with suggestions and advice. She welcomed us when we arrived and had brought us a basket of fresh fruit, which was very kind. "Loved having all the space of the whole beautiful house. Outdoor seating was lovely though so many delicious restaurants right on the beach. Beds were comfortable with warm blankets on cool nights. Gorgeous stone work inside and out."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"Great location in the middle of everything. The roof deck was excellent - for both breakfast and late night. And the rooms were spacious and flexible. Loved the 2 sinks in every room, and fridges. The coffee was delicious!"
