" Very nice resort. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and presented nicely. Our room was very clean. It is not really possible to swim in the ocean, but it was nice to sit on the beach and watch the waves. It would be helpful to have a detailed report map in the room, rather than the small one in the registration desk. It would be useful to have brochures about various activities on the island. "I enjoyed my stay at the resort. It was a lovely adult only resort and all inclusive. The meals were good. The room was beautiful and I had a great view of "Miami beach" The only negative i would say is -I wish they put the beach chairs on the beach at the time they say they would. Despite that I still made the best of my stay and really enjoyed the property. I hope to come back again. "

"Upon arrival to The Sands, we were greeted by friendly staff and offered a cold welcome drink of choice with instructions for an easy and quick self check in process. "Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!"

"pros: great weather, small hotel, offers adult only section, easy check-in process, clean pools, clean rooms, great oceanfront view. negative: rocky beach, can't enjoy swimming in the ocean, uncomfortable bed, limited food options; slow service, long wait for lunch and dinner, same food offered for breakfast; some staff was rude."

"The property is nice. The resort needs to provide ear plugs for their clients due to the noise of the tree frogs. Because of the way the building was designed, the tree frogs made an echo sound from sun set to sun rise.
