"The property is undergoing an upgrade but still very nice and the restaurant was lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Although I did pay for an upgrade room so my elderly mother could be on the ground floor as the lift is out of order and although the room was nice there was scaffolding in front of the window and they where dirty so achieved the ground floor bit bit the view was spoilt. "

"The property was lovely. Original and charming. Reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Right opposite the station. We parked in the station car park as the hotel one was full. It was £8 for the 18 hours we were there. Good value for Newcastle. We booked one of the small standard doubles. It is what is says - small. It was clean and quieter than expected. Ok for a night but in future we would book a bigger room. Nice for a one night stay "

"We had a spa day which was fabulous and then stayed over. We chose to eat in Charcoa restaurant on the evening. I ordered mince and dumplings and my friend Salmon. The food had obviously been there for sometime. Both meals were cold as were the vegetables. We sent them back and ordered a pizza which was cooked fresh. Everything else about the stay including breakfast was very good."

"I would have provided full stars if the cleanliness didn’t let it down. On arrival, I went to run my child a bath and there was a pubic hair in the tub, so I checked the shower and a blatant pubic hair left on the cubicle floor, and finally there was what looked like a boot print on the base sheet on the bed. The staff were very quick to send someone to change the sheet. The customer service was second to none, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. It is a shame that those incidences...

"I've stayed at the Newcastle Sleeperz Hotel a few times and never had any issues. The location is convenient for public transport with various parking options available surrounding it too. The city is within walkable distance for food and drinks too! The only issue i have is with the showering facilities. The water doesn’t always come out hot which can be a inconvenience. "
