"Bij het aankomen ging obs iemand verwelkomen maar niemand gezien. De sleutelkast hing volledig achter de poort zodat we deze heel moeilijk konden vinden. Donker van binnen. Keuken was vuil, kasten plakten van het vet. Zwembad en bedden waren ik. Maar zeer warm binnen ondanks we alles gesloten hielden om de zon buiten te houden."

"We were met at the villa on arrival and given recommendations for restaurants, supermarkets, patisseries and butchers. The villa is exactly as it looks on the website. You definitely need a car here but Mougin (amazing place with loads of restaurants) is only 5 mins away. The hosts were great, we only needed them for check in and departure, but they responded immediately. I would highly recommend this villa and was perfect for our party of 3 couples."

In summary: authentic historic property (as rustic as you could get!); spacious living quarters and massive, accommodating outside spaces; a sense of entire privacy within the grounds; stunning views (in particular while lazing about the wonderful pool); remote enough, nestled in the hills above the charming village - a 20 min walk to amenities. "Cute little house with everything in it. Linen is not included & no towels. Double bedroom on ground floor with a wardrobe you can't close the doors as it isn't attached to the wall. Double bed on open mezzanine access via a ladder & crawl to the bed which was ok for our teenager. Cooking in the well stocked kitchens, swimming in the warm pool, relaxing on the outside couches, drinking wine… heaven on Earth. "Nice swimming pool and big clean room with big bathroom (we had a family studio). Staff very friendly and big underground car park available on site. The only thing is that given the location you need the car to go out for dining, shopping and to the beach, but this goes without saying if you look at where the hotel is located on the map."

"I have stayed 7 nights and relied on public transports in order to visit Nice, Cannes and Monaco. The breakfast wasn't great, but I did take coffees upstairs to the accommodation and had some pastries I bought at the supermarket nearby. There were thunderstorms at some point and I had to stay indoors, and it was quiet and relaxing and I just watched Netflix. So it was a place where I was able to rest and then gather energy for the busy days ahead, exploring. So I would stay again if I were to...
