"I travel a LOT for work, so I have experience with hotels both good and bad. This truly has been the best overnight stay I have EVER had. EVER!!! Front desk staff was amazing. The room was VERY SPACIOUS. It was such a welcome change to have an actual table for dining and working. The bed was very comfortable and the perfect height for someone that is handicapped. I’m sad that I don’t work in this area more often, because I would stay here EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! Book a room here and you will NOT be disappointed. I promise. "

"The attendant at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. He answered my questions about places to visit nearby. He put me in a better room when I was not satisfied with the allotted room. He even came to my room to fix the TV. "

"We had a great time at the house. Everything was clean, easily accessible, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the views of the river and even got out kayaking one morning. Our host was responsive and easy to get in touch with. I look forward to staying here again. "

"The entire process was super seamless from check-in to check-out and in between. The house is nicely renovated and appointed, extremely clean & comfortable and dog friendly with a fenced in yard. Brenda is a wonderful host, very communicative and left us very solid cookies from a local bakery .A great spot overall!"

"Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU"

"This property is gorgeous. Mountain views? Check. Beautiful waterfront views? Check. Super clean, well equipped, beautiful home? Check. I booked this property to celebrate my birthday with my former husband and our kids (and their significant others). The hot tub was a hit, of course. But the home itself was so inviting and cozy. The property owners were great, and checked in without being overbearing, like some other places I’ve stayed. I absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to relax, fish or spend time with loved ones.Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the stellar bird watching opportunities. 10/10 spot. "
