Nice place, super comfortable.
We had a great stay. Very comfortable, well provisioned, super clean. We had a snowy weekend, but the long driveway was plowed out before we needed to leave. Property manager was super responsive. Would stay again.

Quiet house in the woods
Was attending a wedding at nearby venue, stayed the weekend, made a great home base with lots of things nearby and very comfortable to hang out, cook and relax.

Beautiful fully appointed house
We stayed here for a long weekend visiting my son at Dartmouth. The house was new and beautifully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen and all the necessary toiletries, towels, blankets, linens, pillows etc. it is probably one of the best stock houses we’ve stayed at. We were concerned because of all the rain in the previous two weeks but communication with the manager and owner was easy and informative. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

It Was Perfect!
We were in the area to visit our son and his family who live in Strafford. We’ve always stayed at a property in Strafford, but to our disappointment the property had been double booked and we were unable to find another available time that worked for us. Our disappointment turned into thankfulness after our stay here! It worked out perfectly - the owners had thought of everything anyone could possibly need! And it was as just as beautiful inside as the views were outside. We hope to return on our next visit to Vermont!

Relaxing Stay
We had the most wonderful time! The trail leading to the river was a bit washed out due to the massive storms the week before but we really enjoyed listening to the river from the deck. We were greeted with wine and chocolate! So welcoming! Have to say it was hard to leave when our rental time ended. The driveway took a little to get use to but we had it mastered before leaving. Thought we would have road noise but rarely heard cars passing. It was truly an escape. The location manager quickly answered any questions that we had. We already want to return and when we do - we want to stay longer! Highly recommend this location!

Beautiful, Immaculate, Private
This was the exact location and scenery for which me and my spouse were looking. The owners paid attention to detail as the house was immaculate, fully equipped and stocked with everything one could need in a house. Although no fault of the owners, but to make future guest aware, mosquitos are horrible especially after a rain. Some repel was provided by the host but it was needed prior to entering the home. So make entries and exits quickly so they will not enter the home. Also, there is not consistent cell phone reception in the area, however, the host provided a strong Wifi connection. In addition, there are not curtains or blinds in the main area, only in the bedrooms. This just allows for the fall foliage to be seen in beautiful detail which was the reason we came. Overall, we had a very quiet, much relaxing time here.

Stunning property marred by lack of basic supplies and lack of expected readiness for occupancy
This is a stunning property that we enjoyed. The problem is mismanagement of the property. Management blamed a new cleaner for problems found, like a huge load of laundry in the dryer including the bath math, master bed not made, towels not in place in the bathrooms, etc. Because the master bed was not made, it was not clear if the bed in the other bedroom had clean sheets.But problems with supplies were most likely already present before this cleaner got there, it appears. For example, the huge bottle of unscented laundry detergent had enough for one load of laundry, the instant coffee had expired, the welcome soap was in the wrong bathroom and the tiny hotel bar in the master bathroom, the outdoor canvas chairs were not clean, the clock was flashing in the kitchen with wrong time in clocks, there was one large oven glove, the trash bags were running low, there were not more large welcome soaps, etc. Some of this we figured out because management asked us to go into the supply closet. The welcome chocolate was a nice touch but on one piece a lot of foil was missing, which raised a concern about the safety of eating the rest . An alarm went off at 3 AM the second day of the trip. Management didn't know what it was and didn't offer to come check out the property. Some sauce in the cupboard looked to be refrigerator necessary. A damaged swan on a table was reported and no response to question. Management should get cleaner to check off chores on a list .

Outstanding accommodations!
The host went above and beyond for us! There were plenty of linens, towels, spare toiletries, and a fully stocked kitchen— coffee, spices, oils, you name it! My sister lives close by and I can’t wait to make this our go to VRBO when visiting her. The guest book and welcome station was also quite memorable! If only I could share the photos I took. Thank you for a great stay and making this place feel like home away from home!

House in the woods.
Home is at the bottom of a fairly steep gravel driveway. Open floor plan. Beds were comfortable. King size bed sits pretty high. I bought a small step stool so my wife could get in bed as she is quite short. House was very clean. Very large master bathroom with walk in shower. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Home!
Met up with our daughter who was hiking with friends! Easy drive to trail heads; close to good restaurants and shopping in Hanover/Lebannon. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and serving six hungry people. It is very well stocked easy to use. The beds were great and bathrooms/towels too. The host was very kind and responsive. Would stay again in a heart beat! Thanks you!

It Was Perfect!
We were so happy we were able to return to this property to have as a home base while visiting our son and his family in Strafford. It had everything available to make it as comfortable as home! If asked if there would be anything missing that could make our stay more enjoyable, I certainly couldn’t come up with one thing!
