"A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. "

"Old traditional hotel but rooms are in terrible decaying conditions and very dirty. Only a small portion in a newer building has renovated rooms. Pillows smelled so bad like never washed that I had to use a towel to cover them, but bed sheets were clean. Issues with old wood structure and termite damage in the rooms as well as very dirty bathroom. Friendly reception was very helpful arranging a morning safari but seemed embarrassed themselves about the neglected conditions of the rooms. Thekkady...

Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips. Spacious, room with balcony overlooking fields where mongooses and monkeys were playing, and the forest. "Comfortable location in the vicinity of tourist attractions, cozy homestay, owners were very polite and readily helpful, they always greeted with a polite face and very customer friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not many amenities provided (low pricing so understood), WiFi was decent in the room we stayed. Overall felt at home."
