We dined in the restaurant and the food was tasty and well prepared. We would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to some local trails and town was an easy walk or drive down the road. Thank you"

"This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland. "

"Lovely welcome, clean, warm comfortable room. The only problem was, I was unable to eat at the premises on Monday evening this time of year. Apparently they start serving.evening meals again on Monday evenings come March time."

"We had a very enjoyable one night stay at the Crown. The room was a good size with a very nice bathroom. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar and we enjoyed some of tapas dishes for our evening meal. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful."

"The Red Lion was "going under new ownership" upon our arrival. We were the first customers. The facility was historic and quaint. The food was good although it was obvious things were just getting going. I felt safe and it was nice to be in a lovely English village for the evening. "We had a lovely stay ideal for the train which we arrived on and used the buses there is one problem stairs my Husband is becoming disabled he can use these at the moment but later as he gets worse, he will not be able to manage them "
