There was actually something large happening in Tweed Heads as we checked 11 other facilities and they were all fully booked. The staff offered NO assistance at all and made out that we hadn't booked but I showed them my Wotif confirmation and all he said was - I have no booking. Wotif should drop this...

"The staff were very knowledgeable about tourist attractions. Nothing was a problem for them to get additional towels etc. They even allowed us to park our box trailer at no extra cost They were very friendly. Would stay there again. "

"This hotel is more like a backpackers, it has permanents living there. Dirty, smelly and noisy at night. . Smelt of smoke even though not supposed to smoke. Bathroom was VERY old and hairs on floor. Carpet was dirty, curtains were hanging off hooks. The outside of the building would turn you away straight away, but inside was far worse. We only had one night there as there was nowhere else to stay and we were glad to get out of there. At $121.00 per night I think this was disgusting. The...
