"Brilliant hotel in the heart of Dublin, great location to walk to the temple bar area and easy transport routes all around the hotel. Wynn's Hotel

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (780)
"I just love Wynn's Hotel's shabby chic. I love it's very important history in the formation of the Republic of Ireland. The rooms, beds, are comfortable and the newly refurbished shower rooms are spotless. A good, wholesome choice of breakfast. The afternoon carvery is really good value for basic, wholesome food. The location in central Dublin couldn't be better with the Luas at the door straight from Connolly station. Staff lovely, friendly and accommodating."

Beresford Hotel

3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (1001)
"The staff were wonderfully accommodating and very helpful. Wonderful shower pressure! Small European rooms for those from North America. Breakfast was well worth adding. I had read about the noise, so was a little apprehensive; however, it was not crazy for a downtown hotel. Yes, you could hear the train and the people but the location and the ease of moving around the city and getting to the bus, train, airport made it worthwhile. This area was very convenient to get to and move around...

Latroupe Jacobs Inn

2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1000)
"I was only in Dublin for a very brief stay, and chose the Jacobs Inn because of its proximity to public transport and multiple options for dead-of-night airport rides. I didn’t get the chance to really interact or hang out with anyone because I was only in Dublin for ~34 hours (half of which being sleep), but the location seemed to draw a great mix of folks from all over. There was plenty of activity at the bar as well as a few events organized. I didn’t partake, but there seemed to be plenty...

Ashfield Hostel

2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (153)
"Good hostel. Each bed has plugs, light and a ledge which was nice to use. No curtains. Downfall would be no communal showers so although there was a shower in the room you might have to wait for others in the room. There were two additional toilets downstairs. Kitchen was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable to almost everything. Upstairs rooms are probably quieter at night."
