"We loved our stay here and the flaws were minor. But they were, still, slight annoyances. We arrived in the late afternoon, right at check-in time (4:00pm) and followed the direction to get in the front door. Annoyance #1: Once you find the key in the lockbox, actually getting the front door unlocked and open is a challenge. Judging from the comments left in the guest book, this has been an ongoing annoyance for years. Annoyance #2: It was chilly when we arrived and we looked for instructions on...

"Quiet and beautiful place. We enjoyed the place. Close to all the great hikes and the rafting tours along with Hood River and White Salmon both great places to relax for a weekend"

"Excellent location to see Mt Hood and River Gorge. Description and photos are accurate. Communication was very good. House was a great value."

"Very sweet cabin, not a lot of room to do more than sleep and sit around (ie. Not much table space for games) but its incredibly close to all the shops and cafes in town. also incredibly close to ski lifts and ski bowl for year round activities. Biggest challenge was that the check in process was not provided clearly through VRBO beforehand, and they were separately emailed which wasnt expected. All around a wonderful place to stay. "

"OMG! What a beautiful space! The house had everything you could want or wish for in a vacation rental. We so enjoyed our afternoons sitting outside on the porch sipping some lovely Hood River wines and enjoying the views. The 14 pound one eyed dog had a blast chasing squirrels in the huge yard. The property management team were attemtive and informative. We would stay here again and again and again!"

"Loved the views, they were truly amazing. The couch and the master bed were comfortable. Loved that we had access to back-up supplies as needed, and the washer and dryer. We were grateful for that. Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any....
