"We had a very nice stay at the grand gite in Ver de Mer.Our multi generational fa.ily, parents, children and grandchildren were very comfortable with with enough space for everyone. Georges met us on arrival and familiarized us with the property. We arrived later than expected so the local shops were closed. Georges made us reservations at a lovely nearby restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal. The gite is within distance of all the sites we planned on visiting, Bayeux, the Normany...

"A great week spent at Claires quiet and tranquil village house. Ideally located for a visit to the WW2 historical sites. Deceptively spacious, clean and with secure off road parking. Local supermarket only 2km away at Cruelly. Proved to be ideal for us touring the area on motorcycles. A little investment in some comfortable furniture would make it the perfect holiday spot. The cottage is beautifully appointed. The decor is lovely and the layout extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is bright and cozy. room. The bedroom was large and comfortable and bath clean and well kept. The cottage is just steps from the sea and town....

"A group of 11 of our family enjoyed the beauty of the area from this super central location! Plenty of private space and bathrooms to accommodate and the kitchen dining and sitting areas were great for all of us to hang out after the day’s activities! Enjoyed the d day sites but also the quaint villages and seaside towns including port en bessin. Make sure to also go to Bayeux to visit a really amazing city and maybe catch the farmers market! Truly loved our stay"

"We really enjoyed this house. It is well situated for visiting the Normandy sites/D-day beaches. There is a great bakery down the street and some good shops. We loved the hosts, who were very helpful and great with communication. They will meet you to show you the house and give you the keys.The shower is especially good, so enjoy that.One thing to be careful of is the spiral staircase, they are metal and a little tricky to navigate, so watch out for that. Otherwise, you will not regret staying...
