"This was one of the best places we stayed in a long time. All, really all was perfect. First of all, this tavern and hotel hosted some of the guests from the famous Titanic, and the premises are as beautiful now as they must have been, back then. Very well renovated and the upkeep is great. Nicely decorated rooms with complementary water for your enjoyment. "Major issue with safety as bedside lamps were hanging by their electrical cord. Also arriving at 5pm the room was not ready as they were short of staff. Quality of food at breakfast was really good but took a long time to prepare and the staff were trying to close the dining area while guests were still eating"

"This was our fourth time visiting the Cromwell Arms. It's a lovely little gem for a sneaky little night away for 2. Rooms are lovely and the pub serves delicious food. My only gripe was that they no longer give you the mini bottle of gin and tonic water in the room, which was always a nice touch, we got the normal bottle of bear.... but no gin for me :-(. "

"Genuinely warm welcome after long horrendous journey was appreciated. Fantastic service throughout stay to us and dog. Smallish double room and ensuite was a bit of a squeeze with dog in tow. Some nice extras like bottled water and tasty biscuits for dog and her humans! Good choice of foods for breakfast. Food consumed was freshly cooked and tasty"
