"This is a wonderful property at which one can experience the unparalleled tranquility of El Hierro. The property is situated at a location from which the entire island can easily be explored. The garden is a delight and the views across the Atlantic towards La Gomera and Tenerife are superb."

"The pictures did not do this place justice. It was on a steep hill, but the grounds are enclosed & beautiful. The plants, art & simplicity is incredible. Fully stocked kitchen was helpful. Only negative was I hadn’t heard from host by check in, so I was worried. But once we reached him it was very simple & great communication."

"Erg leuk om in te verblijven deze lava woning. Behulpzame buurvrouw die ook incheckt. Supermarkt naast de deur. De keuken is prima, en de totale ruimte ook. Douchen lukt helaas minder met maar 15 liter warm water en een te lage waterdruk. Het bed was voor ons te oncomfortabel, en de te lage deurposten ook. We zijn dan ook lange mensen :) "
