"Fantastic view with the best room in architecturally significant hotel. All this outweighed the relatively dismal state of the public areas and the sub-Britannia breakfast. Once things have improved under the new ownership this will be a goldmine for staff and owners. "

"Searched relentlessly to try and find a property that ticked all the boxes for us. This was it! Great location; surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. Stunning view over the harbour in a lovely, spacious apartment. So let’s cover the stairs….yes, lots of them but, you can’t complain if you’ve read all the reviews. Finally, there was friendly communication with Noreen who helped me with a parking question (parking pass for Sainsbury’s), another plus point. Fab place in a brilliant location "

"Lovely, cosy welcoming cottage. So clean and well equipped - even things you don’t even know you’ll need are provided - all very well thought out. Fabulous location - you can easily drive places and there’s a nice walk down to the beach and local pub. We have stayed at Colby Cottage three times now and I would recommend it to anyone. "
