Hotel is in a great location, right in the town centre. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful cobbled streets with many lovely little eclectic, independent shops in which you could spend many happy hours pottering! "All staff really friendly and welcoming. Evening meal and breakfast delicious. Bedroom spotless and comfy, also quirky with the creaking floorboards and old chimney breast. Will be returning again when we go to Bristol airport. "

"If you check back, I stayed here a year ago. It wasn't so good. But a year later and new owners and my god what a change. Parking is great. Met by welcoming staff. I had my usual room and it had been redecorated and now the windows open, no longer painted closed. Lovely powerful shower. Last year the evening meal was terrible, tiny portions and over priced. But with the new owners they have turned it around. I had a lovely evening meal at a good price. Mon to Fri they have deals on two & three...

"Hotel offers free parking at the carpark next door if ypu park in the marked spaces. Easy to checkin online before you arrive, although they did take the payment the day begore which was a bit naughty as it was supposed to be on the day. Comfortable clean room eitb partisl seaview and a bath. However, the bath took ages to fill, and the bed was a linked double and one of the mattresses was higher than tbe other so it was a bit uncomfortable in.the middle."

"We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The building is about 400 years old so it did creek and shake a bit when heavy vehicles went by, but that was mainly during the day, we were not disturbed at all during the night. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious and they didn't mind adapting to special requests. We would definitely stay there again. "
