Wake up each morning to sweeping views of the beautiful ocean from one of six oceanfront bedroom suites, each with its own private bathroom. Two suites feature spacious oceanfront patios and granite bars for relaxing and entertaining. In all, there are beds for 21 guests in this spacious villa.

The gourmet kitchen with granite countertops is primed for preparing family feasts. Sip cocktails on the outdoor patio bar off the kitchen while meals are prepared. After dinner, gather on the expansive oceanview terraces and lawn for games, conversations, and dazzling sunsets.

For aquatic adventures, a private beach gate leads directly to the sand and sea just steps away. Swim, kayak, or simply stroll along the gentle waves. Watch boats cruise in and out of the nearby Flamingo Marina.

Luxurious amenities abound, including a huge ocean view pool, light daily housekeeping service, and 2 of our staff members who will arrange everything from airport transfers (a 50 minute drive) to excursions, golf cart rentals and more. An in-house chef and masseuse can also be booked for an extra charge.

Casa Copacabana is walking distance to beachfront restaurants and markets. Just minutes away by car or golf cart are the towns of Flamingo and Brasilito for shopping, banking, dining, and activities.

Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Copacabana. The property manager, entire staff and owner were wonderful, helpful and quick to respond to anything we needed. The house is beautiful and was fantastic space for our large extended family with children ranging from 13-3. We loved the pool, yard, beach and the Hemingway’s that’s so close by! We miss Costa Rica already!

Epic House & Beach Stay!
I absolutely loved my stay at this home. The house is immaculate and gorgeous and the location is perfect right on the beach. You can get right into the ocean from the home. The hosts were extremely kind, hospitable and responsive. The housekeeping staff were so lovely and helpful as well! Our family trip to Costa Rica was an amazing experience. The house was large and comfortable and the pool was perfect for a group of 10 people—adults and children. The staff was so friendly and accommodating also. A special thanks to Dervin for arranging trips and service. He made everything easier for us. We are looking forward to returning.

Amazing!
We had 10 adults and 9 children (ages 3-10) and had the most amazing week at Copa Cabana! The house is HUGE, the pool area is PERFECT, and the entire staff was INCREDIBLE. We never had any concerns regarding security, the beach was beautiful, and the town of Potrero is an absolute GEM. Highly recommend coffee and breakfast at Nita. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Our family loved the property and it’s only a matter of time until we return :)

Costa Rica 2024!
Wonderful property, perfect for our multi-generational family. Ana from Yellowfin Tours became our go between with staff, a big help and Google translate! Jimmy house manager was right on any issues! Mercedes and her crew kept us cleaned up and the pool guy was great! We used the recommended Chef for 3 nights, very good and very reasonable. We did rent the golf cars to get around town and to the restaurants and grocery. Sure beat the price of rental car we didn’t need, all our tours pick us up at the house! We would rent again. Thanks for the memories!

Great property in a great area
We loved this property and the area. The property was beautiful. We had a very large (6 adults 7 kids) group of 3 families and the layout was perfect for us. Each family had their own floor and own space. The town of Potrero is very cute, safe and walkable from the property. The property owners gave a list of recommended activities and contacts which we also used and loved, ranging from chef service to day tours through Yellowfin. We’d highly recommend those we well. We’d highly recommend this property and we’d book again.

Amazing Experience!!!!
Everything was WONDERFUL!!!! We had 9 couples and we all had such a great time!!!! The house was just as described, the beach was even better! Massages right outside your back door! Having the cleaner and chef was totally amazing and worth every penny. The yellow fin concierge service was fantastic! Coordinated everything with ease through them, rides and excursions for 18 people was easy- which I could never imagine saying. We never needed or used a car- just rented golf carts the entire and booked transient through yellow fin and it was all perfect!!! Thanks so much for such a memorable experience!!!!

Fantastic Home
Our family spent a week at Casa Copacabana. The home is very spacious and has everything you would need. The location is great. Mercedes, the housekeeper, was wonderful. The grounds keeper was great too and very helpful if there was anything we needed. Jimmy furnished the home with food/liquid from a list we provided for him. If there was anything we needed done, he was right there to help. You definitely need to use Yellowfin to schedule any tours/expeditions you want. View their web site to see all that they can help you with. All in all we highly recommend you stay at this home. You won't be disappointed.

Paradise!
Such an amazing week at this gorgeous property. Pool and beach all in one location! What could be better? Rooms were comfortable with plenty of bathrooms for all. Housekeeper was fantastic! Would recommend booking the chef for a few nights. His food was phenomenal! Dervin and his tours were also excellent! Only complaint is that I wish they accepted cards. Anything with Dervin requires cash. Is that even a complaint?! Fantastic stay. Will come back!

A dream family vacation
This was our first time traveling all together, 14 adults and 7 children under 11yo including a 1yo and 4 month old and this house was absolute perfection!! Everyone was so accommodating including the owner Gregg who had portable cribs delivered for both babies! We did 3 excursions with Dervin (yellowfin tours) and each one was so special. The private chef and the maid were so wonderful and I highly recommended the golf cart rental from Chip and Jennifer! If you’re considering this house for your family vacation to Costa Rica don’t hesitate the property and team are perfection. Thank you so much to Gregg and his team for helping us make memories we will never forget!

Very spacious, clean, perfect location - more houses around then in pictures. They updated some patio furniture which is nicer then the pictures. Mercedes the house keeper is an awesome person and David the ground keeper is awesome as well - they put the experience over the top. I can’t say enough about how helpful they are. Jose the tour guy we mostly had was awesome - he speaks several languages and made extra stops at great locations to give us the whole Costa Rica experience. Hemingways - the restaurant just 4 properties over is a great restaurant with entertainment nightly

Unforgettable
From the moment we walked in the front door we were in awe. Beautiful, well maintained house in the lovely small town of Portrero. Communicating with Gregg and Ana (the concierge) was super easy. We booked all of our transportation through them and also an amazing fishing excursion on the “Rickdiculous”! We hired the private chef for an out of this world brunch. The house was so close to so many wonderful bars and restaurants. We had.a great time exploring the town of Potrero and walking the beach to check out Playa Flamingo. The kids enjoyed the rented paddle boards from Hemingways and spent hours swimming in the ocean. We also enjoyed a snorkeling catamaran trip and an ATVing tour. The sunsets were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Thank you for sharing your house with my family! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Our Copacabana Castle
Our stay was amazing! Words cannot describe the memories we made in this lovely home. We had a group of 19 and it was a perfect fit. The pictures don't do the views justice. Everything we need was available or a short walk or 5 min. drive away. Greg was extremely helpful from the beginning and Dervin and Mercedes was THE BEST! Made our stay so comfortable and easy. I can go on and on about our stay, but I just know that I will be there again very soon!!!! Thanks again Greg, for a rememberable experience. Paradise!
We, as grandparents, booked Casa Copacabana in Potrero, Costa Rica for our whole family consisting of six grandchildren, ages 17 to 28, two of their friends, and our two adult children for the of week June 24 - July 1. The beautiful 9-bedroom house was well-suited for our group of 13, and its location on the beach close to restaurants and two grocers within easy walking distance was perfect. The lovely landscaping and large pool partially covered by the huge lanai made every day truly Pure Vida! The sunsets are incredible and the beach fairly deep and rather quiet with gentle surf. We had a chef prepare dinner two nights and we ate at several restaurants other nights. The company that manages the house did a superb job on booking several excursions and promptly answered any questions before and during our stay. We highly recommend Casa Copacabana during a visit to the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica!

Pure Paradise
This was our fourth time to Costa Rica. All previous times we stayed up in the hills. This time we decided to try to live right on the beach and, by far, this choice over exceeded all our expectations. The house is just perfect for this purpose. It has everything we could think of and much more. The staff was always ready to help, the house was thoroughly cleaned every day. The pool was warm and well maintained. All the terraces and outside spaces had enough of cozy furniture to accommodate our group. Living just steps away from a warm ocean and having kids riding the waves all day long was just amazing. Thank you Greg for accommodating all our needs, and even offer some extra! We can't wait to come back!!

Room for everyone
Our family group of 12 had a wonderful 9-night stay. The house was very comfortable, beautifully maintained, well air-conditioned, and fully stocked. The grounds were lovely, as was the pool. We spent most of our time together on the back patio, which is well ventilated with ceiling fans. The kitchen was great. It had plenty of everything you could need. With a large group, we also appreciated the extra beverage fridge for storing our sodas and beer. The staff was excellent: Mercedes the housekeeper kept us neat as a pin, and with plenty of beach towels, the groundskeeper/pool maintainer was on top of the yard, Jimmy managed our shopping and hired us a fantastic private chef (Miguel and Anna), and Dervin was very responsive when we contacted him. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Copacabana to anyone looking for a deluxe home to rent in Playa Potrero.

Glorious experience at Casa CopaCabana
The house is fantastic. Secure, spacious, 3 floors, large outdoor areas, great entertaining areas indoors. All very welcoming and serene. Fantastic garden, Large clean pool, easy access to beach, and the whole 9 bedrooms were amazing. The location is central - close to the beach and the coastal areas, about 1hr from Liberia airport and about 2 hrs to the Rincon de la Vieja National park. Great support all week from Dervan & his team with Yellowfin tours, he brought us back n forth to the airport and helped us with our excursions during the week, Mercedes our cleaner who came everyday - so friendly, and Alexandra & Jimmy who helped us as concierges - they were amazing - anything we needed they had an answer to all my questions. Amazing 'package' that comes with everything for this house. Our interactions with Greg the homeowner were easy, fruitful and very helpful and engaging - a super nice guy overall ! Fully recommend to anyone, this house will not disappoint.

Most incredible stay in Play Potrero
Wow, its hard to describe one of the best trips of our lives. From the pre planning with Gregg and Mackinzie all the way to the end, everything was absolutely impeccable. The house is everything and more mentioned in the listing and pictures. Its well suited for multiple families and children etc, we had four families with six children. We never felt crammed and everyone had adequate space. The outdoor living area is perfect, with sun and shade at perfect times. Next, the staff at this home is so gracious and accommodating. From Jimmy and Dervin ensuring our pre stay and activities and transportation were planned effectively, to Mercedes (housekeeper) and pool/security team. We literally couldn't have asked for anything more. We recommend renting golf carts to explore the area. Jennifer and Chip from rent a golf cart were amazing to work with. This area is a gem, just don't tell your friends as we want to keep coming back! Thanks team Copacabana, you are the best! Steve

We were a group of 11 adults who have been friends since college . . . many years ago. Following a seamless rental process, we arranged van transportation from the airport, and during the course of our 10 day stay, through the owner’s recommended service. In fact, we did not rent a car or golf cart, instead choosing to walk and, only when longer distances required it, use the recommended transportation service. There is a small grocery store and multiple casual restaurants within a 10 minute walk. While we expected to use the kitchen, we dined out 90% of the time. The house is well maintained on a wide beach and long walks are a pleasure. We did a river tour and a fishing trip. The housekeeping staff, concierge service and security were excellent. Any concern was immediately addressed. The website images are an accurate depiction of the property. The area is very casual and a great site for a relaxed vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall condition of this property is… tired and needs a refresh. Mucho dirt, cobwebs viewable coming down stairs from bedrooms, door falling off kitchen cabinet, cooktop griddle not working, multiple underwater pool lights hanging off by wires, had to get door hinges oiled so they would stop waking people up at night, AC in bedroom sleeping 4 stopped working. Pictures show what looks like a hot tub. It has jets but no heat. Cook changed her mind and did not show up for a birthday meal. Wire in kitchen floor gives you a shock if you touch freezer door handle. Fountain in entry courtyard began to really stink. Very difficult to communicate with property manager prior to arrival. Also difficult during our stay with intermittent unresponsiveness for days/weeks. Cannot snorkel off the beach. On the good notes, location is great. View is amazing. Best actual pool in the neighborhood, great ice machine! Would come back but only for the pool. Ocean was pretty good for younger kids but not for babies.
