Beachfront Villa Just Steps To The Water

Casa Paraiso is a beautiful beachfront villa located in Playa Potrero. With the stunning ocean view, the beach is just steps away from the backyard. Enjoy the gorgeous Pacific sunsets from your private pool or patio with a glass of wine or your favorite beverage. The house was entirely remodeled in 2021, offering over 4100 sq ft which includes 7 bedrooms and 7.5 baths. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and 3 downstairs. Each bedroom includes its own private bath. Three of the upstairs bedrooms provide ocean views with its own balcony.

Within walking distance, there is a market, and several restaurants, including 3 beachfront restaurants. The calm ocean is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and other ocean activities without the threat of riptides.

Casa Paraiso is located about 50 minutes away from Liberia Airport. The house is also about a mile away from Playa Flamingo, and 30 minutes away from Tamarindo. It is the ideal location to spend a day out shopping or enjoying what the area has to offer! You also have your choice of fine restaurants, which are just a short drive away.

Here at Casa Paraiso we offer housekeeping service every day excluding Sundays. We also have a groundskeeper three days out of the week. We offer a concierge who is very knowledgable with the area that can assist you in booking any tours, fishing trips, private chef and outdoor activities of your choice. The concierge can also assist you with booking an airport shuttle which can be arranged prior to the day of your arrival.

Everything was fantastic. The house was in a great location. Close to grocery, restaurants, the marina, and a short golf cart ride to Flamingo Beach. I highly recommend renting golf carts. It was the preferred way of getting around and seeing things going on in the area. We had our family of 13 and it fit all of us very comfortably. Everyone had a private bathroom and the rooms were very big. The house was very clean. We had a couple of evenings with the private chef. She did a fantastic job cooking great food. The beach is a stone's throw from the house. I can't say enough wonderful things about this property, the owner, and the management.

Wonderful stay for extended family
We had such a wonderful stay! My extended family of 14 stayed here for spring break - we had 6 kids (ages 10 months - 7 years old) and the house was perfect. There is a huge yard filled with lizards for the kids to run around in, quick easy access to the beach and a perfect size pool. There was plenty of room for our family. The house is about 45 minutes from the airport and only about 10 minutes (or shorter) from Playa Flamingo where we took two boat trips (estuary tour and dolphin site seeing tour). We had a great time and highly recommend!

Great stay
Loved our stay in this wonderful house. Area is very peaceful and safe. Seemed a little far from a lot of activities, though. This was our first time in Costa Rica and weren’t really sure where to stay but knew we wanted to stay at the beach. The beach was great! Not the white sands and blue see through water but still beautiful!

Amazing Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this house. The view and the proximity to the ocean, pool, palapa, and grassy backyard make this house standout from many others. We were a family of 9 adults and 4 kids (including an infant) and had the perfect amount of space. Chef Karen prepared an outstanding meal for us. Potrero has many dining options in walking distance. We LOVED the burritos and tacos from Gritanga (next to the brewery). We also rented a golf cart and explored Playa Flamingo area. This was a vacation we will never forget!

Loved Staying on the Beach
Holiday gathering with our entire family. House include concierge, cleaning personnel, security guard at night, and lawn and pool staff. We rented kayaks and paddle boards for the week and used them every day. Short walk to restaurants and we had a cooking staff come in for one dinner. Everyone had a good time. We had 3 cars which we parked right at the front door.

Perfect Vacation
Beautiful property. Visited with 14 family members. 6 kids were under 7. We had the most amazing time. Sunsets were incredible. The yard & pool were perfect, the kids had lots of space to run around. The house was very nice with a gorgeous balcony & lots of bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well. It was very clean and the cleaner was great & reliable. Used the concierge to help book a few things along with the chef - all went well. Would love to return!

Awesome! Awesome! House was great and location was perfect. Steps away from beach. Beaches aren’t busy at all and several restaurants walking distance. Must try Coco Loco on the beach, 10 min drive but worth it. Home was very roomy and pics don’t die it justice. Great place to stay! Will be back.

We booked this accommodation to stay together as a family & have a vacation together. The accommodation was absolutely perfect! We had the luxury of each having our own bathroom & bedroom, a daily housekeeper & pool maintenance. Even though it was exceptionally hot while we were there we had lovely shaded areas to relax in & enjoy meals together outdoors. We all enjoyed the pool & having our own beach to enjoy the ocean as well. Super close to all amenities, groceries, pharmacies & great restaurants. Jimmy our host was amazing & helped our family immensely through some unexpected family emergencies. We can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was here! Pura Vida!

Fantastic house
This is even better than what the listing shows in every way. It was very clean. Their concierge helped us with two excursions. We didnt expect daily maid service but that was included. We had 6 couples and there was lots if space. Great location with lots of nice restaurants close by.

Such an impressive house and property. The location is great for families and also entertainment! Beautiful beaches all around. Concierge Alexandra was very helpful and available. We arranged for Karen, private chef, to make us a meal each week. The food was excellent, and the price was reasonable. Angie, and her son Jacob took great care of the house and us throughout the couple of weeks. We are dreaming of the next time we can return.

Great House, Great Location, Clean, & Beautiful
My friends and I go on a group trip each year. There were 13 of us (all 30+) that stayed in the house for 6 nights and it was great! We rented golf carts to get around Potrero and Flamingo. It was easy to ride the roads in the area with a golf cart. The house is in walking distance to Hemingways and a few other restaurants and markets. It’s a quiet area at night, not too close to restaurants so you can hear everything, just a good close enough distance to walk. We felt extremely safe and everything was beautiful. This is a great house for large groups. The beach wasn’t crowded, the water is a lot flatter here than in Flamingo. 10/10 recommend staying in this house. I would be happy going back here with my family! Great house and great location! You can’t go wrong with staying in this house with your friends or family.

Top 5 best vacations
I invited a group of friends for my 50th birthday. Plenty of room for 13 people. So many activities to do and many within walking distance, but also so relaxing you can just chill at home and enjoy the house. The concierge's were fantastic with activity planning and very responsive. We hired a chef for a birthday dinner (for 17 people) The Chef was 5 stars. The owner, Chris, was also very responsive and had plenty of recommendations. I've recommended to friends and family already. Thanks Chris!

Luxury in Paradise!
From the moment we walked in, we immediately fell in love with this gorgeous, immaculate, and tasteful home. Our group of 11 enjoyed the beauty of the grounds, the view and sound of the ocean, taking away any lingering stress as we drifted peacefully into vacation mode. The house has everything you need and is located within walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. The beds were comfortable and clean! The housekeeper and groundskeeper were incredibly friendly, as well as Alex our Consierge, who was available to meet any need we had. We have rented many homes in the past, this was the best!

Beautiful House
The house and location were great!! Walk to restaurants and market. Angie was awesome. We had massages with her too! Alex was great and responded very quickly to issues, we had one room that lost aircon and someone was there within an hour! The only recommendations I would have is replace the dishwasher, replace the beach chairs and look into the hot water as it wasn’t consistent throughout the house for showers. I would return to that house in a heartbeat!!

Our stay was truly amazing. Everything was as listed. The house had great space, we loved the bedroom set up, it worked perfectly for our group of 13. The beach was also wonderful. Not busy, waves were just the right size where we didn't have to worry about the teenagers in our group. The pool was equally used and appreciated! Alexandra helped to organize our transportation and tours, Angie was also fantastic. Chris responded to any and all questions we had prior to our stay immediately. We can not wait to come back! No photo shops, what you see is what you get. The place is gorgeous, extremely well maintained. Chris Pappas the owner, always answered any questions within 5 minutes. The sunsets watching from the spacious gazebo were the highlights of our days. One advice, get a car or golf cart, the Merkdo 5 minutes from the house was not sufficient for our grocery shopping. I highly recommend the 5 minutes drive to the Masai grocery store in Flamingo for a fantastic selection, they even have Gluten Free products.

4th of July Family Trip
Casa Paraiso was amazing and perfect for our family of 12. Angie was great! Her massages were one of the highlights of our trip and she kept the whole house feeling so neat and clean. Alexandra attended to every detail in setting up our many activities (sailing, fishing, surfing, zip lining) and getting us there and back. Karen prepared two meals, including an 80th birthday celebration and we loved her energy and voice. Hemingway’s and The Beach House were only steps away and we enjoyed every meal we ate at both places. Chris answered any questions within minutes. He is the perfect host and his home is even more beautiful than the pictures! Our Costa Rican vacation was definitely the trip of a lifetime for all of us!

Relaxing beachfront oasis
We stayed here for 8 nights and it was the BEST!! Highly recommend if you are going to Potrero. The house is actually in a little community of Surf Side- restaurants, bars and shopping within a 2-6 minute walk. The house is huge with 7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. The beds are very comfy. AC worked great, plus fans in every room. Lots of outdoor seating options and a shaded area out by the beach. Kids loved the beach and pool! House manager was great and helped us with anything we needed and booked an amazing fishing trip for us. It was nice have Angie clean and pick up everyday. Definitely will go back and rent this house again!!

Beautiful and fun stay in Playa Potrero
This was a vacation to celebrate my retirement and all my family traveled to stay here. There was 14 of us. The house was beautiful and clean. The pool was awesome. The Location was great just to walk out to the beach. Alexa the house concierge was wonderful and helpful. My only concerns was that I did not know there was 2 people living on the property, one a gardener one a security person. I was just surprised. The gardener worked at night and triggered motion lights in the backyard. I would suggest a larger seating area for the living room. Seating for 5 was not sufficient for gathering at night for maybe visiting and maybe a tv show. The palapa was wonderful for morning coffee. Overall we were very very happy there.

The house on the ocean was perfect - there were 13 in total and almost everyone had their own bed and bathroom. Lots of space to spread out. Balconies had shade for most of day and palapa was great for us white skinned northerners. We swam in the ocean right in front of condo every day and did one of the snorkel tours. Also had dinner catered one night which was fabulous. We had a maid, grounds keeper and night outside security person. Also rented a golf cart so my husband could get around which turned out perfectly as we were able to get to all nearby placed including Flamingo Beach. We spent 4 nights there after 10 days close to Lake Arenal - perfect chill time before going home.
