"It took 3 hours from the airport, to arrive late (approx. 9.30pm) they did keep the restaurant (limited as it was) open for us. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to the pricing as we were shocked that we could not get cocktails! One type of beer and about four choices of spirits or wine. Turns out a drink costs more than in Australia! Meal was pretty basic too and not cheap. We took a chance as we wanted to experience the 'naturalist' (clothing free) experience. We wasted our money...

"Had an absolutely wonderful time at Bondalem Beach Club. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make sure my stay was a joy. So much so, they climbed a tree to get me a fresh coconut. The rooms are spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The pools are spectacular. The sunrises/sunsets from my room’s patio were a dream. I highly recommend BBC if you need a quiet, beautiful and relaxing getaway. "

"The place is really only for divers, we went snorkeling but there was so much junk in the water that we had to get out. One restaurant and the menu isn’t much. "

"The location is awesome. The facilities are just ok. The bed was a mattress on the floor, and no chair in the room at all. I put the toilet seat cover down to sit on it, and it broke. The manager/owner attempted to charge me RP500,000 for the toilet seat. I bought a new one and gave it to him, and my cost was RP85,000."

"I loved my stay here! It's a beautiful space and loved waking up here every morning. It's quirky and some parts are a little dated but all it needs a quick repaint. "This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in. However, this is a fantastic villa and we had a really enjoyable relaxing stay. "

"We had the most amazing time at Hanging Gardens of Bali. It's a stunning location with friendly staff, incredible food, and beautiful views. We were welcomed with marigold garlands and drinks, and the service was exceptional. We also tried the spa services, and the massage and bath were both relaxing and unique. This is a must-visit place to stay in Ubud, and I highly recommend it!"
