"We literally only needed a clean place to sleep while we were in town for one night. This unit fit the bill. Approach was a little confusing as I had forgotten this was a basement apartment, but host was very friendly and eager to help. Outside of property could be a little cleaner, but unit itself was spotless and fit exactly what. Do wish the couch was a little more comfortable, but we didn't need it. "

"The apartment is in a great location! Walking distance to downtown Lawrence…clean, well-appointed rental. Major downside is it is located in a building with very loud residents. Loud music at late hours and very loud talking/yelling well into the night/morning. Not a fault of the host at all-but if you’re looking for a restful nights sleep this is not the place for you."

"I have used VRBO MANY times but this rental was just totally weird. In this 2 bedroom apartment there were 2 rooms with renters and/or the owner around too. Each renter had a bedroom and the living room and kitchen were communal. I used neither. Each bedroom door had it's name written on a piece of paper thumbtacked to the door. The kitchen had the owners food and "stuff" in it and there were no lights in the kitchen, counters or fridge! I had to use my phone. When I saw it was already in use I...
