"It was really hard to communicate with the property manager. I kept on messaging yet no reply. Did not receive my Bach information until on the day of booking. The house was very smelly and had cockroaches everywhere. The dishes and cutlery were dirty too. The place is beautiful and few minutes walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Was a great trip away. Just not happy with communication and cleaning."

"Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. We found the pamphlet on the last day. Tairua is awesome, not has busy as Whiti or Pauanui but still has...

"The house is simple but comfortable for a couple. The location is perfection if you want to walk across a local road for a morning swim/body surf, if you want to watch people gather with their shovels and start digging at low tide for hot water, if you want an exquisite 45 min walk along a nearly deserted cove. Great fun watching the day come and go. "

"I liked that there was plenty of room and plenty of showers and toilets. The beach was in walking distance which was good for the kids. We could of done with extra towels as there wasnt even enough for 1 each for the amount of guests booked and we were staying for 4 nights. On our arrival there was a quarter full glass of drink outside, there were ants on the bench (must have a problem)"
