"For the price I was not expecting such a comfortable place. Great beds, quiet, super clean and very friendly reception staff. Being able to get free tea, coffee and flavoured water 24 hrs a day was a bonus. It is in the 2nd floor of a shopping centre but has free parking with direct lift to the hotel."

"Hotel is more like a 4* but very nice. Clean and the rooms are really good. Staff etc were excellent, the gym and pool areas are really good. The food in the hotel is very expensive and not great quality."

"Love, love, loved our stay here what a hotel. Beautiful palace with sympathetically added bedrooms. Spacious, luxurious rooms, again with fantastic views. Wonderful views for the pool and bar area-stunning.Do wander into the town and around the beautiful gardens. Friendly, helpful staff-booked us a taxi for early airport run, with a breakfast bag. Even went to the trouble of prepping us coffees at 5am. We felt thoroughly spoilt."

The hotel is very nice but would only consider it to be 4 star as some areas of the hotel do need to be updated. Buffet breakfast was great every morning. Olhão is worth a visit for a couple of days, however at this time of year a lot of places are closed "
