In your hotel room, there is very detailed muti-page recommendation of places and food to try. It is written in both japanese and english. The location is about 5mins from Matsumoto castle. Check if the castle does light up at night during your stay."

Rooms in the small side (comm in Japan) but fine for us. Beds were very comfortable too. A great value as well. We would stay here again. "
