"Alway love to stay at this hotel. Fabulous staff, Richard & Emma are brilliant. Unfortunately I won’t be back and loved staying here. Thought £25 for breakfast was ridiculous considering I only had a coffee and scrambled eggs on both days and I asked for a child’s portion as don’t eat much in the morning. I normally book B&B, but must have missed it on Hotels.com this time. Maybe a paid menu for breakfast would tempt me back, but not the way it stands unfortunately."

"I have booked bed& breakfast on expedia web. Paid money for it to find out is no brekfast that evening,only because needed to call maintenence guy....as tv broken down. Got an email few days pripor my arrival that bar/ pub is close from monday to Thursday from day i am coming and i need to use codes to get in as is no staff..... Better and better... Loud( every little noise from room above not allowing to sleep)Cold, mould in the corner, hand towel hanger almost off the wall and wardrobe...without a rail and hangers...table pool to be in use after money putted in to only take money ... "

"Beautiful hotel! We were a bit worried when arriving with our 2 year old that it might not be child friendly as it was clearly a beautiful building, but the staff were absolutely lovely with her and very happy to provide what we needed. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended."

"I can’t think of a better place from which to explore the Cairngorms. This property, including our little cottage, is an historical gem. You will have to manage a few tiny comfort issues like no shower, the cushions on the living room furniture were worn to the point you are sitting in the frame, there were spiders (harmless) everywhere. The washing machine is in another community building, the queen bed is actually two twins pushed together so it was too short for my husband. But even with those concessions, we loved it!! The fire place was wonderful, the rooms are decorated with botanical and hunting prints. The kitchen had just been redone and was equipped with everything we needed including the prettiest china. We would definitely stay again. "
