Villa Alta Vista is an impressive Andalusian style home perched on a hill and offers absolutely stunning views out to the Atlantic, yet only a short walk down to the 12 kilometres of white, pristine, sandy beaches of Zahara de los Atunes. This gorgeous home is fully equipped with air conditioning and central heating for year round use and is spread across three floors to provide guests plenty of space. Perhaps most enticing is the stunning pool area complete with an extra large luxury jacuzzi overlooking the sea that comfortably accommodates 12 adults. Both the pool and jacuzzi have magnificent sea views and enjoy incredible sunsets. There is also a new game room complete with foosball, air hockey and darts, as well as a fabulous outdoor table tennis area. Magnificent entertainment for everyone! The gardens have various fruit trees and the gated parking area easily accommodates 3-4 cars.

Villa Alta Vista contains 5 spacious double bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, 4 modern bathrooms with thermostatic showers (two of which are en-suite), and 1 guest toilet. It also has 2 fully equipped kitchens with Nespresso machines, 3 large terraces overlooking the sea and pool area, outdoor shower, table tennis facilities, BBQ, lounge chairs and plenty of outdoor seating for the entire group.

Fully equipped and modern, it is fitted with WIFI and high speed internet throughout the house and also has satellite TVs with international programming in each bedroom and the living room. Bath towels, bed linens and hair dryers are provided for guest use. Beach chairs and beach towels are also available. For your laundry needs, there is a full sized Bosch washer and Bosch tumble dryer in the utility room and a line dryer outside for hanging delicates. For added comfort and convenience, bathroom toiletries and house cleaning supplies are all kept in stock for guest use.

Perfectly located, with gorgeous views and privacy. It’s only a 5 minute walk down to the beach and 10 minutes drive to the town centre of Zahara de los Atunes. To ensure guests have top notch local staff present to attend to any needs or services required throughout their stay, Villa Alta Vista is professionally managed by a local agency in Zahara de los Atunes. They can help arrange any extras you may wish for your stay, such as mid stay house cleanings, ironing, etc.

Security: Villa is gated and has an outdoor security camera in car park area for security purposes.

Amendments: Amendments to dates can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival, subject to availability.

Golf: The perfect weather conditions of this region allow for fantastic year round golfing. There are some great golf courses within reach, such as Montenmedio with its 6.260 meters, 18 holes and par 72 and is only 20km away.

Excellent in all respects
This was a family event/vacation for eleven people ranging in age from 3 to 77 from different places in Europe and North America. The lovely villa was ideal with pools and beach nearby. It was beautifully equipped with everything for meals and games, etc for children. Our host, Nanette could not have been more helpful or gracious.

Alta Vista is UNFORGETTABLE!
I don’t know where to begin to explain how magical and special a week we had at this gorgeous home. Special thank you to Nanette for being such a helpful and responsive host from beginning to after check out. The house has everything you need, so you can sit back and relax and take in the view. We were four adults and five children and there was lots to do for everyone! The view of the ocean from every room was breathtaking. There are a few restaurants and shops in walking distance, but the village with the majority of shops and restaurants is about 2 miles away and easy to drive or call taxi. Travelers should note that Zahara seemed to be a vacation spot primarily for Spanish residents -so not touristy at all. Which we enjoyed!! We hated leaving after a short week and look forward to returning to this one in a million spot.

Wonderful stay
Where do I start? We had such an amazing stay! The view is unbeatable from the terrace on every floor. The pool is a perfect temperature and the jacuzzi so relaxing. The villa has everything for everyone- games room, yoga mats umbrellas, beach chairs- because the beach is just a few mins walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped- all adds up to a relaxing stay . Excellent location within walking distance to beach. The house and the location is areally beautiful. Within minutes you are in the city and the access to the beach in is a good walking distance. There were three downsides regarding our stay. The not communicated construction side next door was awful… If you spend a lot of money for a week, travel across europe and you receive the information 2 days prior to your stay is not ok. The noise was on a level, which was not acceptable . Additonally when we arrived we went for a dive in the pool. Shortly after, some friends of mine cut theier feet, because there was everywhere shattered glas around the pool. From the kitchen down to the pool. So first things first, we cleaned for 1 hour straight until it was safe again. And the somehow the chlor in the whirpool discolored all of our swimsuits.

Best villa we’ve ever stayed in
I knew the villa was going to be amazing, having read all the reviews, but it really IS amazing! Nanette was so helpful at every point, even organising a last-minute drop-off meal for our event from the local restaurant. The villa was immaculate, and was very well equipped. The hot-tub was such a bonus as we had 3 young children (3,4,6) who treated it like a baby pool. I would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful vacation home!
This property and home is truly remarkable. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi overlooking the Spanish coastline. The beach is only 5 minutes away and is relaxing and beautiful. The home itself was updated and clean with multiple beds and bedrooms! We can easily see ourselves coming back with our children and family in the future. The town is very close but be mindful that this is not a typical tourist location, which is both good and bad. Practice your Spanish! There was some construction next door, and although it was completely out of her control, the owner and host went out of her way to ensure us the peaceful vacation time away from our busy lives! Her recommendations and suggestions led us to great food and an amazing adventure in Morocco as well! Hopeful to come back and stay for at least a week next time!

Yet again…..AMAZING!!!
This is our second time at this property and it still is the most amazing place to stay for all ages! We had such a rough start with our flights from Chicago, Nannette the owner was absolutely FANTASTIC helping us out. Once we got to the house every worry washed away with the beautiful views and the warm ocean breezes. House once again had EVERYTHING a family needed. We travelled with kids ages 7-14. Pool was perfect, the game room was top notch. Ping pong area was SO MUCH fun and well thought out. More than enough room where the kids were busy and adults enjoyed wine on the balcony. It was heaven. You can’t beat Zahara for location world class food, nice drives to Vejer, Gibraltar and more great historical towns. Can I give it a 10 star rating?

Exceeded expectations
Our family included 12 people from ages 6 to 82 and it was the perfect location for all of us. The layout of the house was wonderful and the view was spectacular. The details provided for our comfort was beyond our expectations. Nanette was amazing in communicating with us right from the beginning and until our departure. She gave us valuable assistance with restaurant suggestions and reservations as well as any information we wanted about the community. We would be delighted to return there again in the future.

Beautiful villa with amazing views in great location
Everything was exceptional. The villa, the facilities, the location, the pool, the jacuzzi, the many toys for children, the pool and beach equipment even the gym weights, (that I promised to use but never did as so many other activities to do) every detail was thought about and provided. As an extended family with our 2 sons and their families (with 4 children 5 and under) Alta Vista was the ideal holiday destination. A walk down to the beach was just lovely and the beach bars were a perfect treat. The activities in the surrounding areas were second to none, from kite surfing to amazing horse riding for the grandchildren. Also the surrounding places to visit are certainly worthwhile. Verja de la Frontera is definitely worth a visit. Both Nanette (the owner) and Joke (the agent) were super communicative making sure we had everything we needed. Nanette even recommended restaurant 21 to provide an exceptional dinner for us all on the terrace of Alta Vista. A very memorable evening. There is a building site next door to the villa (who wouldn’t build a villa next door) but the builders are very understanding and it wasn’t disruptive to our enjoyment. I would highly recommend Alta Vista and hope to visit again one day.

Great stay
We had a long weekend here to celebrate 40th birthdays. We had a great time. The property was fantastic, the beach is great, and there are a couple of nearby shops for essentials. Nanette and Joke (the agent) were fantastically helpful and always checked in with us to make sure things are how they should have been. Features and spec of the house are great and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone considering the property.

Alta Vista -- WOW
We spent 24 fabulous nights at Alta Vista this June and July. At different times we had college friends, then our adult children, their spouses and 4 grandchildren (ages 4 to 7), and then other friends with a 4 year old. The house was perfect for each of those groups! More than one person said WOW when they arrived and saw the house and the view. That’s what we wanted to rent! We all loved eating on the middle porch, overlooking the turquoise waters, seeing Morocco in the distance many days (and taking the short trip to Tangier from Tarifa), seeing the fishing boats offshore, and the beaches almost empty at their most crowded times! And the sunsets – how can you even try to describe them! They were a must see event every evening. The pool and new hot tub were a big hit, and their use often followed a trip down to the beach. We found Zahara de los Atunes to be a family friendly town with nice restaurants, fresh fish and seafood for cooking from the markets (including on the grill), and good grocery shopping a short trip away in Barbate, but a nice bakery and “alimentación” very close towards town. Cadiz and Sevilla (including a Costco!) were easily reachable and others made an overnight trip to Granada (we spent a few days there after leaving Alta Vista). The weather was spectacular, using the AC only 2 days, oftentimes we needed a sweatshirt outside at night during the worst heatwave in Europe in years. We have rented homes around the world. The reviews that say the house had everything you need are right, with supplies always on hand and Jóke available for special requests like lining up a photographer for family shots (he was great!) or dealing with the unexpected event. Nanette always checked in to make sure things were on track and when the water went out in the whole area, her husband even brought us 50 6 liter bottles of water!. Ali (21 Restaurant) brought us wonderful meals when we had “changeover of groups nights” that eased the process. And the cleaning crew was first rate. We chose this house in part because we wanted good day trips but the best was how much we loved being at the house, having everyone be able to sit around the outside table (inside too but the weather was too nice not to be outside), lounge around and in the pool, and just veg out. This was the longest we had stayed at one place for vacation, and the time flew by. If you can’t relax and just enjoy at Alta Vista, you can’t do it anywhere.

Exceeded expectations!
Nanette's home far exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful inside and outside. While we spent the majority of our time enjoying the yard, the interior details including the shower and kitchen were amazing. Nanette and Joke were also incredibly helpful. They helped us with dinner recommendations, planning a sailing trip, and coordinating a welcome basket delivery. They were awesome and made our trip extra special. Would highly recommend this property, thank you Nanette and Joke!!

Amazing!!
It was our first time in Spain 🇪🇸! We are from Illinois, USA. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Nannette the property owner was absolutely wonderful answering questions about things to do and see to where to eat in the area. Joke, the property manager was amazing person with ANY questions about the house. She was prompt with any issues and so incredibly sweet. Nannette also set us up with Ali from Restaurante 21 in town to come to the house and prepare food for us. It MAGICAL! The food simply out of this world!!!! Can’t recommend it enough. We also travelled with my 11 year old daughter, there were so many activities in the house to do for her, and place to explore. She even found a lemon tree on the property! She loved the many gardens and places to check out. Family ping-pong tournaments were also a laughter filled high light. The house was magnificent and comfortable. Pure luxury in Southern Spain. We had 7 people and felt absolutely comfortable, more than enough room. You will fall in love and not want to leave . I live in Illinois and am missing watching the sunsets while in the jacuzzi with a glass of nice cold Cava. Heaven!! A must book property!!!

A Truly Amazing Villa Overlooking the Atlantic Straits
Nanette's Home, was better than the pictures, if that is possible!. We were in Spain for two and a half weeks and we purposefully made Tarifa our second to the last stop. After the heat of Madrid and Seville this was the perfect home to refresh and recharge for the rest of our journey through Spain. We had side trips planned but we couldn't leave. This was the more luxurious than we expected. The furnishings, finishes, and attention to detail was amazing. We divided our time between the pool and the beach. The grill next to the pool was where we gathered each evening, after a trip into town for fresh fish or steaks. Being able to have dinner on the patio overlooking the sea and enjoying the Sunset was not to be missed. We were an adult family of 8 with more than enough room for everyone to either gather of retreat. 4 full bathrooms and the many bedrooms on different levels allowed for privacy. Everything you could imagine you might need was provided. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Beutifull place and house.
It was really nice trip and stay in Alta Vista Villa! Villa is situated in the middle of the hill with super sea view from each from 3 floors. Villa is spacious, very good equipped and decorated with charm. It looks as on picture (or better). There is also a lot of trees and flowers also deployed with great charm. For kids number one was swimming pool, of course and there was also some toys (also to the watter). We have enjoyed a good table tennis table (good bats included). There was a lot of supllies of toilet accessories and other supplies. It was definitely the best villa which we have rented yet (from 10 - 12 villas)! Communication with Nanette and Joke (from Sol Inmobiliaria) was very good and fast! Thank you Nanette for perfect week! Ludek.

Spectacular Beach House for our Family Vacation
Alta Vista was perfect for our large family group. We were in awe of this house and its setting. The views are stunning and we won't soon forget the sunsets. The house comfortably accommodated all 12 of us. We especially appreciated the beautiful, large dining table and outside seating that allowed us to all dine together. This house was by far the best stocked home we ever rented. The owner, Nanette, thinks of everything and is incredibly responsive. She truly wanted us to have a good experience and we certainly did. Every other day we took day trips to places like Seville, Granada, Gibraltar, and Morocco but we so enjoyed our days at Alta Vista just relaxing by the pool, walking on the beach and hanging out at the local restaurants. We would love to return again!

Lovely, well equipped villa
We very much enjoyed our two weeks in this delightful property. The location is excellent with wonderful views overlooking the Atlantic.it Is also within 5 minutes walk of the main beach and a five minute drive to the restaurants in zahara. There are also some very nice bars and restaurants in the near vicinity.

We miss it aready!
We returned a few days ago from this fabulous villa just outside Zahara de los Atunes. We knew the views would be nice but they exceeded our expectations. There is nothing better than getting up and having breakfast overlooking the pool area and the ocean. The area is much less built up than the Costa del Sol and is more of a place for Spanish holiday makers. We only heard the odd bit of German and English spoken. The villa overlooks a beautiful long, sandy, clean beach with turquoise sea. The walk down was a little bit of a challenge for the grandparents and for my 2 year old niece but they made it. The pool area was enjoyed by the adults and the kids alike, as was the table tennis table. The villa was very well equipped with everything you could possible need in the kitchen. We all loved the place and hope to be able to return again sometime soon.

Great, well kitted out property. A way from town but relaxing, peaceful location
We were a group of ten ladies looking to relax in a luxurious house and do some yoga. Great beach views from the house and short walk made it easy for a morning dip. There are a couple of nearby beach bars, didn't try the nearest but the second served delicious tapas and cocktails! Large balconies that are shaded in the morning so great for doing yoga. Lots of inside and outside space so very easy to find your own space and relax. High spec house with coffee makers and juicers. Would recommend and would love to stay again.
