"Overall Villa Lapas Jungle Resort was a good place to stay. We had 2 rooms with breakfast, but did not pay for the all inclusive stay because we are vegetarian and don’t drink alcohol. Positives: 1. "I loved Selva Color for a place to stay near Carara National Park and the village of Tarcoles, where you can see the gorgeous Scarlet Macaw Parrots, many other beautiful birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. 10 minute drive. "I have stayed here twice before an the service is excellent and so is the food. The beach is only a 100 meter walk through trees full of Scarlet Macaws. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking for Macaws. Unfortunately, we were cut short in our stay this time. The drive from LA Fortuna was a rough 5-1/2 hours and my niece became ill. We opted to return home to Grecia. "
