"Nice hotel, convenient location in the new part of town. Lovely beach across the street. Make sure you book a room with sea view. You will not be disappointed. You can even see the Spanish coastline (Tenerife) in the distance from your room. Too bad the hotel pool wasn’t open. I was there in January and had the pool been open, cleaned and heated I would have definitely used it. But I understand that it was winter temperatures in Morocco. For me as a Canadian it was like Spring. "

"The most magical place — El Minzah is an institution! The architecture and atmosphere retains the old Hollywood charm of El Minzah’s 1930s and 40s heyday. Service is impeccable and staff are extremely kind. We were lucky to be here for New Year’s Eve and there was a party for guests (included with the rooms) complete with four-course feast, champagne, Moroccan drumline, and flamenco until the early hours. Our new favorite place in Morocco!"

"This hotel was just simply amazing! From the check-in service and lovely staff to the comfortable rooms and lobby decor. The breakfast variety was terrific as well and had some amazing customer service. Really handy gym and sauna facilities however the pool was not heated unfortunately so not useable in December. Outside the hotel the beach was walking distance and also a mall underneath the hotel which was very convenient and so was the train station opposite it. No negatives whatsoever! "

"Property was beautiful, and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was also great. Offers one of the best views in Tangier. One complaint was that the staff were rude for no apparent reason. For a hotel this grandiose and with this history, my partner and I were repeatedly surprised by how cold and unwelcoming the lobby staff were."
