"Great location and great staff! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room too. The place overall has a great atmosphere. The breakfast was good and had a great view of the Mosque and water. My big criticism is that the Medina there is full of very aggressive scammers with constant hassles. It was so bad we avoided walking around and purchasing items and instead went for a long walk on the water. The walk was an excellent alternative. Dealing with the Medina was a horrible...

"Great hotel. There is a sewage smell that pervades the bathrooms - our room was particularly bad. On the other hand, the staff were fabulous and moved us immediately to a room with less obvious smell. Something is amiss with the drainage systems and it should be looked at. The restaurant is great and the food choices are very good."

"This hotel is a gem in the heart of Tangier. Spain can be viewed from the terrace. The rooms are built cozy and delightful with attention to detail taking one back to the old colonial era. Breakfast had ample options. Overall great stay."

"My daughter and I had a luscious three days at the Fairmont Tazi Palace. The staff were incredibly kind and gentile and the service was extraordinary. We particularly enjoyed the spa, the breakfast, and the pottery classes. But all of the little details like flowers and cookies in the room, the kind gestures, made the whole experience memorable. This was a great way to end a 10 day excursion in Morocco before heading home."
