Welcome to "Casa Delfin", our family operated private and relaxing vacation property. We are situated perfectly in the quiet, rustic Playa Langosta community with it's pristine, white sand beach across the street and only one mile from Tamarindo with its many shops, restaurants, tour activity and nightlife.

Our 5 star resort, welcomes you as you enter a naturally lush landscaped complex with all the amenities you would expect. Our professional property manager's concierge desk will take care of all your travel and activity requests prior to and during your stay.

Casa Delfin, with 1400 spacious square feet, is located at ground level, with a covered dining patio only 10 paces from our beautiful 90 foot garden swimming pool. No stairs to climb! Your villa is professionally furnished with a cozy living den for relaxing, private laundry with washer and dryer, and two large queen size bedrooms each with Spanish tiled bathroom and private garden showers.

The open dining room area will comfortably seat six adults. Try the rooftop shared open air patio, where you and your guests can take in the stunning views of the stunning coastline and spectacular sunsets. Just off the fully equipped kitchen, you have a additional outdoor patio with a gas burning BBQ for grilling Tamarindo's fresh caught fish..

Extensive use of beautiful teak wood adorn all the cabinetry complemented by locally quarried natural stone flooring throughout, Italian granite counter tops, imported Spanish tiled baths and GE stainless appliances in kitchen. The beauty and warmth of Casa Delfin is only matched by the unobstructed views of the Playa Langosta coastline.

Only footsteps to the white sand beach of Playa Langosta, which is an excellent beach to watch breathtaking sunsets, shell hunt, bathe in tide pools and enjoy excellent surfing. Ideally located in the quiet residential neighborhood, but yet only one kilometer away from many restaurants, shops and nightlife that Tamarindo has to offer.

AMAZING STAY!!!
My fiancé and I had an amazing time here. Our room was clean and beautiful and the pool was great to cool off in 24/7. It was walking distance from the beach and a short scooter ride from town. There was plenty of dinning options near by and we loved the beautiful sunsets in the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here next time your in Costa Rica!

Excellent stay!
Beautiful, clean, well located and comfortable condo for our family of 4. Bathrooms being outside was fun. Only steps to Playa Langosta and a few minutes drive to playa Tamarindo, grocery and ATM. Melissa was very responsive and helpful. Having the pool beside our patio to cool down after a day at the beach was also priceless. We highly recommend this beautiful location.

Pretty Great!
Liked the location, a bit outside city center. We rented golf cart which I'd recommend. Tamarindo is great spot to visit and lots going on. Melissa was excellent to work with and very helpful with all of our questions. Restaurant, juice bar, and cocktail room within walking distance. Beach accessible only a short walk down the path. Bathroom is open to the outdoors so keep that in mind.

Amazing place to stay
We stayed for two weeks with my sister and brother-in-law and completely enjoyed this lovely property. Super close access to Langosta beach and only an 8 min walk to access Tamarindo beach. Several delicious restaurants nearby and still walking distance (25mins) to all the restaurants of Tamarindo. We especially appreciated the walkout to the pool and Melissa was lovely to work with. Would definitely recommend :)

This property is as described in the listing. One thing that you must do when you stay at this unique property is walk a kilometre south on the beach into the national park where the beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve had the pleasure to visit. Truly incredible.

Great spot!
If you are heading to the Tamarindo area, this spot is absolutely perfect. It has everything you need. If you happen to be looking at this spot and it fits your travel dates and space needs, I would look no further. All of the other 5 star reviews are absolutely dead on. I will stay here again the next time I go to Costa Rica provided it is available.

Lovely property
We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house has all necessities. The manager was very helpful. The location is great - far enough away from the hustle of Tamarindo but easily walkable. Loved having meals on the outside patio. Only issue we had was controlling the volume on the tv remote. It is on the side!

This is a small condominium complex. At first the directions to find the place was a bit difficult but once you found it, you understood. There is construction going on around but the noise is not a detterent. The howler monkeys can be loud but you are in the tropics. The unit is advertised as with an outdoor shower but the entire bathroom is outside, complete with heat, humidity and some critters. The property management is not on site but pretty responsive-they suggested a golf cart to rent for $65/day and it worked out great.

Wonderful Condo
We flew into Liberia for my brothers wedding in Tamarindo. Rich was very helpful from the day we booked almost 9 months ago. The condo was beautiful and quiet. If we weren't at the beach, we were at that amazing pool soaking in the sun. We had breakfast a few mornings at a local B&B Rich recommended and I believe all of the wedding guests eventually ate there. We cooked in a few days and all the ammentities of home. The guard were very nice and we felt very safe at all times. Hope to make it back to Costa Rica one day! Wonderful trip!

Great place for vacation
Loved the villa, spacious, clean, well equipped kitchen (appreciated all the extra spices), beautiful pool and magnificent sunsets from the rooftop. We enjoyed most of our meals on the patio looking out at the pool. The villa was very quiet and well maintained. It was nice to be welcomed by the management company which was a nice personal touch. The area was perfect for our family of 4, away from the crowds at Tamarindo and a short walk to the beach. There's an excellent pizza place just down the street, not just regular pizza, chewy thin crust brick oven pizza. Our favourite beaches were Playa Flamingo and Playa Conchal, just beautiful. We all wish we were still there. Thank you Rich!

Beautiful home in perfect location
We had an amazing stay at Casa Delfin. Upon booking, the owner Richard reached out immediately and was very accommodating, giving lots of useful information and suggestions prior to our arrival. Check in with the concierge, Melissa, was seamless. The place was an oasis - spacious, clean, very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Updated, well equipped kitchen, and all necessities were provided, including beach towels/chairs and coolers. We enjoyed the awesome outdoor showers, as well as the private patio overlooking pool. Security guard at gate is a bonus. Perfect location: quiet area with beach access across the street, several good restaurants in the neighborhood, easy walk to Tamarindo. Loved staying here and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

The ONLY place to stay in Tamarindo
My husband, myself and 5 year old spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica and this villa was more than we could imagine. It is one block from the beach and there is a beautiful pool right outside the door of the living room. We did the beach in the am & the pool in the afternoon. We grilled at home and enjoyed many great restaurants recommend by the owner Rich. He was gracious and available to answer any questions. There were no cars available to rent so we rented a golf cart which turned out to be one of my daughters favorite things. We met many great neighbors and hands down this is the BEST unit in the complex. It is on the first floor so no lugging stuff upstairs and an end unit with outdoor bathrooms/shower. You get what you pay for and this will not disappoint. This is the only place I would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Rich - see you again!!!!

Beautiful
This place is absolutely beautiful. I did enjoy myself so much. I do suggest you have locals find what it is you need because you will be overcharged. Do not use a taxi to get from the airport. Just call Xplore for shuttle service which is only about $25 per person. The taxi charged us 90 USD. I did not see any monkeys on the property but I did see them in the trees nearby. There beautiful, huge reptiles in the trees next to the amazing 90 ft long pool. It isn't deep but it is nice for swimming. None of the 3 jacuzzi's worked which was a bummer. The beach that is located through the walkway across the street isn't really for swimming. There are a lot of rocks there but it is a beautiful place to catch the sunset. The nice beach is located in town which is about a 15 minute walk from the property. I enjoyed the little crabs in the shower area. They don't bother thought they look weird. I do not suggest any car rentals as they want almost a thousand dollar deposit. I thought it was pretty ridiculous. While on the beach, you will encounter tons of pan handlers trying to sell you their homemade items but a soft "No gracias" will get them to move along, unless you are really interested. Mostly everyone speaks both English and Spanish so there was no real issue with that. Also there is a small "deli" type store to the right of the property and is stocked pretty well with most of the things you will need while staying here. The property is well kept with security. Wifi was a major issue for me because it only connected in the living room part of the house. Wifi does not work anywhere else in the house but the living room part. You may be able to catch a light signal by the pool. Maybe. I wouldn't bank on it though. That part really bummed me out because I would have loved to sat by the pool and still been able to work and do school work. Oh and another thing, please make sure that you book strictly through the VRBO site because they have renter's protection. You can cancel and get your money back that way. I wish i would've known that then because I made my payments through PayPal. I needed to cancel a few days because my boyfriend had to be back for an important court date for an accident at work and the owner was able to revise the dates but I couldn't get my money back. I paid for 6 nights but only stayed 4. I was upset about it but had I booked through the VRBO site, I could have gotten my refund. Other than that, the trip was beautiful. Filled with memories

Great location and accommodations
I will start by saying Melissa was amazing! She helped us book travel, excursions, and transport. She made the trip so easy for us. The condo is just as described. Inside is very nice and comfortable. The location to the pool is key. Not only is it nice to look at but just steps off the patio. There is access to the beach just outside. Take the entrance that has the stairs. The other entrance (15 feet apart) was a little treacherous and we nearly lost our flipflops in the mud. The stairs were much easier. There is everything you need for cooking in the house. We did not use the washer but the drier was nice to dry our towels. The bathrooms are really unique and it was fun to shower outside. Not something I would want in my home but a great part of the para vida experience. I did not see monkeys but heard them several times. Melissa helped us get a golf cart. Not the best cart around but it met all of our needs. I highly recommend renting 1 while there. It makes it so easy to get to town and the beach. They set us up for charging at the condo so that was never a problem for us. It was also great that it was delivered and picked up right from the condo. The only negative I can come up with is a rug by the back door. No big deal, but would be nice to have a place to dry feet when coming in from the pool. We loved the area. It was quiet with minimal traffic. We felt safe walking around the area. It is nice that there is a store close and we stopped at the Surf Bar several times.

Don’t recommend until the construction nest door is complete.
The place is beautiful and very spacious, BUT!!!! Negatives: The unit is very dark not like in the photos. Right behind the garden wall construction is going on from 6:30 am until 5. It is impossible to sleep in or stay in the unit. Both bathrooms are open to the outside so after dark you don’t know who you are going to run into. It would have been nice to have one enclosed. You have to drive to go to a surf/boogie board beach. Positives: It is a very large well maintained unit. Lots of natural wood The bathrooms are very beautiful The pool is right off the patio. Very well equipped. Conclusion: Gorgeous 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. I would give it a 5 out 5 except for the intolerable noise just 10 to 15 feet from the unit. And we were not warned about it.

Excellent option for a family that wants to be out of the nightlife
Casa Delfin was an excellent property for a family of 4 (with a blow up sleeper mattress provided by the concierge). The pool is very clean, and the property is maintained spotless. The condo is right across the street from a beautiful beach access perfect for watching the sun set. Swimming on the ocean is a little farther of a walk down the beach (~200meters) but still very convenient. Short golf cart or car ride to the main drag of Tamarindo and shops/restaurants/tourist beaches. Melissa is VERY attentive and a great hostess!
