Rent for less than a hotel!! This two bedroom, two bath Ocean View penthouse is located in the middle of it all! Cross the street, and you hit the sand at Tamarindo Beach. Hear the waves crash from your private balcony! Luxury and convenience describe this wonderful condo located in the Sunrise gated community. This is the best location in Tamarindo and you are walking distance to restaurants, shopping, medical services and more, so a car is not necessary!

This exclusive 1200 SF ocean view penthouse is nicely furnished and features a king-size bed in the master with private bath. There is also a full size bed and twin size bed in the second bedroom with private bathroom with walk in shower. This home sleeps up to five in beds plus 2 additional guests on the queen size sleeper sofa. The large, gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cookware, granite countertops, wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, air fryer, and washer/dryer. The spacious living room features a queen size sleeper sofa, flat screen TV and dining table for 8 guests. Free Wi-Fi, Cable TV, and 24-hour security. The large covered balcony has an outdoor dining area, seating area and gas BBQ grill for your use! Daily maid service available for an additional fee. All linens are provided. Large televisions in living room and both bedrooms. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans in all rooms. Large, resort style pool with cascading waterfall and plenty of space to relax.

As a guest of this property, we also include a complimentary welcome basket with coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and shampoo/soaps. The condo is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, a cooler and more!!!

Fantastic stay in Tamarindo
Wow! Out of our many travels, our stay here was in our top 3 list - both within the U.S. and abroad. The place was extremely clean, spacious, and within walking distance to Playa Tamarindo, restaurants, and shops. Should we pay another visit to Tamarindo, we will definitely stay here again.

Great property across the street from an excellent beach. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Really nice pool for guests to use. Easy check-in process and they provided a shuttle to and from the airport (same price as all competitive shuttles). We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay, Condo was beautiful and centrally located!
Blue Water properties was amazing and were very responsive to our needs and any questions we had. The condo itself was very beautifully furnished with a local flair. The elevator wasn't working in our building but the stairs to the 4th floor were welcomed given the vacation eating and drinking we were doing through the week:) Sunrise property is a great location - just steps from the main beach and just a 5 min walk from basically all restaurants and shopping. Condo 12 has a great view of the ocean and we spent most of our time on the patio when we were in the condo. The condo comes equipped with everything we needed for our stay - major appliances, washer dryer, internet and kitchen supplies. Thanks so much for sharing your unit with us for our first time stay in Tamarindo Costa Rica!

Great location and property, wonderful service!
This was our first visit to Costa Rica/Tamarindo and first rental through VRBO, so were a bit apprehensive about the trip. Turns out, we had nothing to worry about. The Sunrise condo complex is terrific, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and just about anything else you need in Tamarindo. The layout and amenities of the condo were terrific and the view was outstanding. The pool provided a great respite from the beach and was well kept. and the service provided by the Blue Water staff was super responsive. We had an issue with the safe when we first arrived, but they had someone over to fix it immediately. They also arranged all of our tours and everything on those was perfect. We highly recommend Sunrise and Blue Water for anyone traveling to this wonderful part of the world.

Great view, great location, everything the same as the day it first rented
The kitchen needed more items to be considered fully stocked, we called on the refrigerate almost every day, it did not make ice or keep the beer cold. The place is poorly lit and the toilets run if you do not pull the handle up. For the price I expected better, but the worst is that we got introduced to bed bugs. We called Blue Water Properties, they first sent house keeping and the second call they sent the exterminator of course by then we all had bites. If you plan to tour check around for pricing, check weather and tides. Tamarindo is know to locals as Tamagringo and it does reflect it in the prices. All that said Tamarindo was a great place to vacation. The people are friendly and the country is clean.

The location was great, steps from the beach and tons of shops/restaurants! The condo was very clean and well maintained. The only issue was that when heavy rain occurred, the wall in the master bedroom had some water coming in. Excellent property and easy check-in process. Would stay here again if we return to Tamarindo.

Checking out Tamarindo
I wanted to check out Tamarindo to see if it was a place I wanted to retire. Sunrise condos was in the most perfect location in town for me to be able to walk and get a feel for what the town was like. Checking in was very easy and the management company was very responsive. At the last moment I realized I needed to extend by 1 day. All I did was send the concierge a note via the VRBO app and within no time at all I received a reply advising it would be no problem at all. The condo was well equipped and the electronic keypad made for easy access to the condo. This condo was exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect Location
This was by far our best stay in Tamarindo...Great location in every way just a block from the beach, close to great restaurants, and the view from the condo is amazing! Some days we just went to the pool which was very easily accessed. We also had great service from the property manager and concierge. A perfect vacation! Will continue to book my vacations through Blue Water!

We really enjoyed sunrise tamarindo, we were on the top floor with gorgeous views of the ocean ... The location is simply perfect, in the heart of town walk anywhere... The people are very happy and helpful... We would definitely come stay again.... If your looking to stay in sunrise u defiantly want third or forth floor for the views.... Pura vida!

Perfect location
Very well located and comfortable for our family of 3. Our grandson loved having a surfing beach across the way. We all loved being able to walk to restaurants and to the grocery store. The pool was beautiful and a good place to meet other families.

Beautiful Condo
My husband and I have stayed in the Sunrise condo complex 3 times. This was by far the nicest one we stayed in. The vaulted ceilings make that place feel much larger. It is right across from the Diria and a quick little walk across the street from the surfing section of Tamarindo. It is close to many restaurants, bars, and shops.

The best condo imaginable and priced very economically!
This condo and property is very well located to enjoy the city and all of its beaches. The security is great also. The condo is well laid out, clean and comfortable. The was not a single issue. The manager is also very helpful and speaks very good English. I highly recommend!!!

Great times in Tamarindo Sunsrise
Fantastic property. Well kept. Clean and enjoyable to be there. Great location for everything you want to do in Tamarindo. I would consider owning a unit like this one. The condo was well stocked with towels and all the necessary needs. Kitchen was excellent. Very impressed .Beds were perfect. Pool was clean and not busy. Maintenance Mario was very responsive when the fridge and AC broke down. It was fixed within minutes. Dishwasher needs to be fixed for leaks Suggestions are....need shade...umbrellas or some canopy....need to check elevator as it froze up and we were locked inside. The security speaks no English and have no connection to the elevator alarm...so we had to force the door open....scary. Kitchen needs more light....bulbs need replaced Corridor lights at night are soooo bright and the shades in the bedroom do not block the light....it wakes us up. I unscrewed the bulbs and all was good. You can see if you have better solution The balcony railing are low and not to code by Canadian standards for safety. Hope you have good insurance . I know codes in CR are different...but renters are not CR usually...they are North Americans. Please add emergency (Ambulance , Police Fire) phone #s in condo on back of front door. The chairs in balcony show nicely in video and pictures but not the same when went there. Add loungers for sleeping in balcony. Sitting up and sleeping was not good. These are just improvements to a fantastic property and enjoyable times. Keep up the work ! Thank you for allowing us to extend checkout by 2 hrs as our flight was cancelled
