"We only spent two nights at Uma Kalai but the impression it made on us felt far beyond that. "We enjoyed our stay at Sentana Villa. The pool and the garden are great. The houses are lovely and have a lot of charme. Just the outside kitchen was a downside. It's not well equipped and the cooking was nearly impossible because everything is burning when using it. Therefore the pots and pans are not too good on the inside anymore. The street the villa is located is lovely and nearby is the Sayan Point (restaurant) we can highly recommend. "

Bali’s best kept secret

"On our second leg of our trip to Bali, my wife and I stayed in this very nice secluded hotel sanctuary called Seres . What an absolute gem of a hotel. The staff was amazing, kind and courteous, always willing to help with a smile. Dian greeted us with the most amazing professional attitude and warmth. The grounds were stunning, secluded in the lush green fields of Ubud, our stay here was magical. A private villa with a private pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in."

"Cet hotel est un oasis dans la ville. Une fois entrées dans l'établissement, le calme nous a entouré alors que la rue est animée ! La forêt des singes, le palais royal ainsi que le marché sont accessibles à pieds. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et très propres. Le personnel est au petit soin, comme partout d'ailleurs !! Je retournerai certainement dans cet hotel lors de mon prochain séjour à Bali."

"We stayed at The Westin Resort Ubud over the Easter long weekend in April 2025 for four nights and had an exceptional experience. This was our first time in Ubud and a return to Bali after 10 years, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. We spent most of our time at the resort and loved every moment. The yoga and fitness sessions with Heri each morning were a great way to start the day. We had deeply relaxing massages at the Heavenly Spa, and the floating breakfast in our pool villa was a highlight. Breakfast overall was amazing—great variety and quality—and the restaurant staff, especially Suchi, were incredibly warm and accommodating. I also attended the barista course, which they kindly customised to focus on latte art for me. A wonderful touch. The front office team were always courteous and helpful. We’re leaving feeling totally recharged and already planning to come back. Highly recommend!"

"Absolutely loved this hotel, it’s a tranquil oasis! The garden/pool area is beautiful and the room was great. It’s in a quieter part of town which we saw as a bonus, at the end of a street with plenty of options for bar/restaurant. The staff were very warm and friendly, would recommend 👍"
