"Arrival to the property in dark was least assuring as details from Expedia hadn’t reached the place.(?) Don’t be surprised when street pavement ends 15 meters before the gate, nobody answers and have to chase down property manager’s direct phone number from neighboring residents. Luckily manager lives not far and we were greeted by kind man named Aissa. After cold nights in standard places, two of us have been for good night stay after days of adventuring remote roads and towns during coldest days. Which used to be local prince’s palace, had fallen to ruins and is very well renovated by owners with an attention to preservation of historical details. After cold pool plunge swim, we were served nice breakfast and treated to the tour of the property by Aissa. Aissa himself as a carpenter helped owners to renovate and we got to compare photos of before and now. We were only ones there after late breakfast and private treatment added depth to the experience. "

"The hotel is in a lovely setting. Pool area is beautiful. They had cold beer available which is not always the case in Morocco. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Five star staff service. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful Riad with many trees, vines soaring from the courtyard allowing the riad to be home to birds and travelers. Clean well kept and friendly. The breakfast and dinner were excellent as well. Brush up on your French as English is not the language of choice. It is Morocco through and through."

"Just back from what we can only describe as a true Moroccan experience! Facilitated by Florence and fantastic team at Villa d’Hossoun. We were well looked after as soon as we stepped off the plane, with a comfortable transfer taking us to our stunning villa. The villa, that was run in-conjunction with the Hotel d’Hossan, gave us the privacy of vacationing in our own private accommodation but with the benefits of staying at a hotel. It was beautiful, clean, well kept and secure. The rooms were lovely, all with bathrooms and very spacious. The pool was fantastic, with plenty of seating around it and much needed in the Moroccan heat. Our stay included half-board, in our case breakfast and dinner. All food was delicious! Breakfast included a large variety of options. Dinner, three courses each night all different and excellent. The staff were fantastic!! Enhancing our stay and holiday. They couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. They took us to the local supermarket, arranged trips (which they accompanied us on) and made sure all our needs were accommodated. It was our daughter/nieces birthday party while we are away and they arranged a special BBQ and birthday cake without us asking. If you want to try traditional food, from fresh msemen pancakes in the morning to couscous royal in the evening, served by the most hospitable, friendly staff in an authentic setting then this will be the destination for you."
