Great lake house
We loved our stay at this property - the location being right on the lake is fantastic. This is definitely a place to go if you're looking to get away (i.e. there isn't much else to do in the area) and that worked for us. There is a lot of great hiking within an hour. The accommodations were great - inside and out. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at the property. Great price, great location, great customer service, great everything. The house was in good shape, clean, and as of 2023 was recently renovated. This is a half-way point for my family, and we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Lake Destination
My family and friends loved the hospitality our host (Roxanne) provided us. The home is well-appointed with gorgeous sunset views of Logan Martin Lake, just off the main channel in a cove. The home and decor is warm and welcoming! We had everything we needed and more to enjoy and relax at the lake. We will be booking this awesome home again!

Really cute and well set up house
This house is super cute. The hostess was so sweet with leaving us special gifts at the house. The dock was our favorite part and enjoyed using the floating Lilly pad. Very quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful little house on the water
Cute property with lots of outdoor space right on the lake. Well appointed and CLEAN. Plenty of thoughtful little touches and a great open layout for the main room. 8 year old son loved fishing off the dock and husband loved the fire pit and kayak. The boxer loved to lounge from the top balcony and observe the goings on below. Would rent again if we come back to the area.

I’m not the type to write many reviews but I must on this one …First off the host Roxanne was absolutely the best !!! She made sure everything we needed was there and was so welcoming beyond words…The Lake House was very secluded and private and very clean and newly remodeled..

Great place to get away
Very well decorated lake home with some nice finishing touches. Great view of the lake, and all the amenities you would need to have a great time including fishing gear, kayaks and a boat for rent. Hosts have the place stocked with good appliances, cookwear, flatware and utensils, toiletries, and even plenty of bug spray to keep mosquitos at bay. Thanks for letting us enjoy your little piece of lake life!

This little place was perfect. Cozy and clean! It is a great place for a relaxing getaway to slow down and reconnect. It is tidy and had everything you need to just stay a while. All you need to do is pack your clothes. The host are exceptional. Very thoughtful and accommodating. We’re keeping this info and plan to visit again!

EXCELLENT
Roxeanne and William are over the top host. They even provided us with a boat at a more than reasonable rate. The Lake Shack is exactly what was needed for a "reset" to a very busy life. If you need to get away and reset. This is the place for you!! We will be back with friends!!

Where do I start, you know how you forget a few items. This place has it for you. Your anxious to get there your tired then you walk in and just relax you are happy to unpack and get your second wind and unwind.

Fabulous stay on the river
We loved everything from the multiple outdoor spaces. Seeing many turtles, frogs, birds made for great sightseeing. Gorgeous sunset views from the upper deck was my favorite way to end each day. Enjoyed the new Hot tub with coffee in the mornings on the lower deck overlooking the water. Plenty of towels and robes available! The inside was nicely remodeled and very comfortable. Everything we needed, this rental had it. And more! We cooked each day in the well stocked kitchen. We relaxed after long days at the race track and will definitely rent again if we come back to Talladega.

Amazing Stay thanks to Hosts
The property itself is beautiful, wonderful dock and outside area with amazing amenities inside. The entire weekend I was receiving compliments on book the property and that I will be in charge of family rentals from now on. On top of a wonderful property our hosts were amazing, putting on a show of hospitality I've never received before. There was one suggestion that a safety handle be put in the shower for older guests. Everything is five stars plus.

Perfect Lake Experience
I don’t have one single complaint about our stay at the Lake Shack. It had everything you could possibly need for a safe, fun time on and off the lake. From the boat to the hot tub to the coffee maker, everything was awesome. When there was a small problem with the boat, the caretakers came immediately and couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. My family and I had a blast and will definitely be back when we can. It was a lovely bonus to be able to bring our dogs along too. They loved it.

My wife and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary. And just wanted a quiet getaway. And this was it the lake house was beautiful and very clean. They had everything you would need available there. Very peaceful we would definitely visit again next time we may let the kids tag along.
