"This is a wonderful boutique hotel set on a gorgeous sandy beach. The gardens and pool are beautiful. It’s a very quiet relaxing place with very friendly, helpful staff. There are two kayaks and a paddleboard available free of charge. There is a hotel spa that offers massages on the beach and also a massage place on the beach next to the hotel. The hotel restaurant is very good. For more choice, the Intercontinental Hotel is next door and there are a couple of restaurants just a short walk...

"We had a wonderful stay at Sibaja Palms. The accomodations are top notch, high quality and very comfortable. It's right on the beachfront, so swimming is right there. It's a quiet part of the island which is exactly what we wanted. Around the corner there is motorbike rental but get there early because it's a small operation. There is a wonderful croissant bakery right nearby and not to be missed!"

"This was a very quiet property with bungalows - we had a seaview bungalow. Very peaceful (June 2024). The staff prepared a lovely breakfast, and the restaurant was also good with a huge range of options. The staff were responsive to any problems or plans. The main disadvantage is that on this part of the west coast of the island, the sea is very shallow so we could not swim - other than in the pool. When the tide is out, there is an expansive sandy beach though. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The place is lovely BUT I wish the sites were updated to reflect covid. Arrived early evening and reception was locked up. Finally managed to locate someone to show us to the room but the bar and restaurant were closed. It’s a bit remote so we were a bit stuck. If the site had said restricted services I could have made other arrangements. Appreciate these are difficult times. In normal times I’m sure this is a lovely place. The room we had was right on the beach and with a beer and a bite to eat...

"The Intercontinental is in a beautiful location on the West Coast of Koh Samui with stunning views and sunsets. The room was extremely spacious and was nicely decorated. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable."

"We stayed here for 7 nights and you get what you pay for. Its a nice and good location , really off from the city but they will offer you a moped for rent when you get there and that will really take you to better spots on the island. We did not spend that much time in the bungalow but the standard is perfect for backpacking and they offer a good breakfast. /marcus"
