"Couldn't really fault for the price paid. Modern and spotless. Good location for the town, and very friendly helpful staff. All good. Nice boozer too. Public parking around the corner - and its free! Downside is its often full during the day - better to wait until after 5pm if you can. There are plenty of other parking options around the town. All personal preference - but a later check out would have been nice; we are not 10am people!"

"Small hotel/B+B close to the centre of Carmarthen. 15 mins walk from the railway station, little/no parking at the hotel but a cheap car park nearby. Good breakfast. I would describe it as nothing special but would use it again"

"Lovely cosy two room b&b with very welcoming and friendly hosts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay whether it be short or long. The breakfasts are exceptional, a full English or amazing home made fluffy pancakes just two of the choices. If we go to any of the surrounding areas in the future, Toms of Tregaron will be the first place we contact in the hope of securing a room."

"We wanted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and would normally have gone somewhere hot for this milestone but with Covid we are still not prepared to fly anywhere, so were looking for something different to just a ‘hotel room’, I saw this advertised on Expedia, and it looked to be just what we were looking for, a bit of luxury in a tranquil setting, just the down time we needed after a busy year. "Cam was amazing and made me feel very welcome. The room is for 1 or a couple and had everything you need. The is no restaurant but the Nags head was a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was very relaxing and delicious. Bow the new poodle was adorable and very entertaining. "

"On arrival we were greeted by the owners who made us very welcome. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, breakfast outstanding. They could not do enough for us especially with my wife’s disability. We are looking forward to returning in the future."

"Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. "We had a wonderful time at the Four Seasons. We were there for 4 nights. Emma and Stewart were so welcoming, we got on so well and feel we have made a couple of new friends. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection, so delicious. We had free use of the swimming pool and jacuzzi, and walks around the extensive grounds. All in all just brilliant."

"Lovely little cottage ( the coach house) We had 4 lovely nights with our little dog. Very relaxing and lovely owners who were very helpful with places to visit nearby. WiFi wasn’t really accessible- however it was nice to relax without our phones and spend quality time together "

"We really enjoyed our 3 nights at The Smithy. It’s very spacious and cosy and well equipped. Good points: Cosy, spacious, warm, great internet, good kitchen, dishwasher, nice log fire, excellent pub across the road. "My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "The things i like about the angel, clean bed, television, cofee and tea, it was tetley my favourite, laminated flooring,nice and clean room, good size showers, towels, shampoo hand wash, good staff, very warm room as there was a radiator by the bed, In some hotel i have stayed the sheets felt damp but the sheets on the bed i sleep in was very much dry the only thing they could do is to put a peep hole in the doors so if a stranger knock thats staying at the hotel they can look throught the peep hole to see if they know the person safer for the guest i took photos to show my friend to show my friend as they are planning a trip to cardigan they were very impresed and will book "

"Check in was swift and pleasant. We were shown to the suite (family suite) and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely thick quality duvet and pillows. Tea and coffee available also. Towels were plenty and again good quality. We ate in the bar and the staff were great. Apologies for the names (both lads) Food was lovely. Very enjoyable spur of the moment stay. I would return in a heartbeat."

"Beautiful location lovely local walks, convenient for West/Mid Wales. Culture and friendliness of service absolutely top notch. They do have an EV charging point which is particularly useful for those coming from a long distance or exploring this rural area. They may need more than 1 soon but I was the only EV owner staying."
