"The room was ok. Comfortable bed and as described. The bathroom likewise although maybe just starting to get slightly tired. But we only had one hand and one bath towel in there - we didn’t notice in the evening, then didn’t have time to ask and wait for any in the morning when we realised so had to just share… "

"The food at the bar was excellent and the staff were great. My single room had a fire escape view with a bright security light near the window. The plumbing was really noisy til midnight on my first night but fine the next. Room facilities were good. "

"The staff were great and room 22 was perfect with a large bed and plenty of space. We ate at the hotel on our second night and the food was tasty and sufficient. However one meal came out cold and had to be reheated. Our waitress did give us a discount for this. On our last morning there was no water, but not the hotel’s fault as a main had burst. Overall a very nice experience."

"We loved the hotel and the staff were brilliant. It is on top of The Bull Pub! The pub was lovely, such a great atmosphere. The room itself was clean and a great set up for what we needed with our little boy. The second floor walking up to our room smelt a bit musty but overall the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. So much choice! Highly impressed by the hotel and service for the price! Will definitely be back "
