"Conveniently located within walking distance from JR Wakayama and in front of the bus station, hotel is well situated for travelling to other parts of Wakayama or within the city. Hotel is pretty old and rooms are small sized. Bathroom is pretty compact which is typical of Japanese hotels. Do not get a room near the lift as walls are thin and can hear the lift moving up and down. Rooms are actually quite dusty as there were visible dust balls on the tea packets. "The facilities are varied, but with so many people, it is quite busy and slightly overcrowded. The breakfast is lovely, but the room is so small with so many guests that you will struggle to get food. They don’t allow people with tattoos in the onsen, and the rooms are quite small. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Good value for money, but not exceptional. "
