"We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Beppu and the surrounding areas. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff spoke excellent English which made check in and asking for help easy. The hotel is located right by the train station and there is ample car parking if you are renting a car. We had a very comfortable stay and would stay again. "

We had a room with both tatami and western beds (raised off the ground) which worked very well for the elders in our group that weren't used to sleeping on the ground. No shower/bath in the room as the expectation is to use the public baths (or private family baths which are first come first serve basis).
