Sakura Aburaya is a traditional house located in the Tenmanmachi district. This house’s biggest asset is its traditional Japanese interior, constructed around the theme of the “sakura”, the famous Japanese cherry trees. Certain parts of the woodwork are actually made of cherry wood and the beam in the master bedroom is the trunk of a cherry tree. The colors and decoration choices have been constituted based on this theme and they allow guests to enjoy the cherry blossom, one of the emblems of Japan, throughout the year.
Description of the house
The ground floor includes a traditional living room (tatami), a fitted kitchen / dining room, a bathroom (featuring a spacious shower) and a magnificent Japanese garden. The upstairs has two bright bedrooms decorated in the purest Japanese style, the first containing two beds and the second three futons. The biggest plus of the upstairs is its balcony which provides a zen atmosphere. A group of 5 people can comfortably stay in this house.
