"Excellent staff. Bathroom is well appointed. Absence of microwave in room made it less convenient but there is a communal microwave. Free onsite laundry a major plus (pay only for drying). Did not have a chance to visit in-hotel onsen but they offer tattoo patches. Very conveniently located next to a Family Mart. under 1 km from Takasaki Station."

"The Indigo Karuizawa was by far, the best hotel we stayed at during our stay in Japan. The grounds were very modern and the rooms were amazingly well designed while being very spacious and quiet. Amazing spot to take a break during your Japan travels."

"Very convenient with lots of shops and restaurants. It is located just beside Takasaki train station. The room in this hotel is much spaces compared to those I had stayed near Takasaki station. "

"The hotel is located in a quiet area yet it is walkable to the main area. There is a lot of dining option and I also like the fusion Japanese/French dinner. Tasty and elegant. The parking is also easy. We had the room with the private onsen. Love it!!"
