"I don't know why Lin Hotel has below a 9 rating. It's an incredible hotel and feels like a Vegas 5 star hotel like the Wynn or Encore. The location is extremely close to major parts of the city. The staff is extremely nice and speaks english. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean, but the beds were a little soft. "Have been staying here whenever I visit Taichung for the past 10+ years. This time, I discovered that they offer really good ginger tea at the check in area and this is one of the best ginger tea that I’ve ever tasted! Room are big and clean that I’ve used to as before, breakfast buffet are still really good. I will continue to stay here in the future!"

"One of the best Hotel we stayed on this trip. Breakfast was the best part. Hotel is clean but old, but workers are nice. Even when I don't speak mandarin, we were able to communicate via google translate. Free laundry service which was a plus. Ice cream in the lobby, Tea eggs were a hit. When I was waiting for cloths to wash and dry, I was able to sneak in an egg or 2 plus the snacks and drinks available until mid-night. "
