"We really couldn’t have been anymore comfortable!!! The suite is was so cozy and has amazing views! Super close to charming downtown Nelson for amazing farm to table foods, coffee and local craft beer. About 20 minutes from Whitewater ski resort which had the most incredible snow quality. We will definitely come again!!"

"Fabulous place! This is the second time I have stayed here, and it is truly a home away from home in Nelson. Perfect location, and within walking distance to most things. Amazing view. The unit itself is clean, and has everything you need. Definitely recommend! "

"Owner Corey lives next door, was very helpful, and came over to introduce us to his place. One of our party of 4 slept on the sofabed, which was comfortable but in the main living space - not an issue for us. The location neighborhood is a bit unusual, but fine, and a few minutes drive from downtown Nelson. We would stay at Corey's place again."

"Wow, Diane’s place exceeded any and all expectations for our stay. The unit below the main home was perfect for our Nelson getaway. The kitchen is large enough to get groceries and cook for the week, the biggest plus is being able to see Diane’s amazing pottery up close and personal! "We were a group of four couples, it was great to stay in a large house with sufficient bedrooms and a large kitchen and dining area. The check-in and check out process was easy and well communicated, the recent snow had been taken care of so parking was easy and it was nice to be able to park in the garage."

"My friends and I were travelling to perform at a festival in town and this place was perfect. Large and comfortable beds, plenty of space to stretch and unwind at night and only a 9minute walk to downtown. Communication with host was so easy and we all would definitely come stay again! "

"This house and property exceeded our expectations. The house isn’t visible from the road and the property is a hidden gem in the little town of Ymir. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. "We needed a place to rest and recover between two backcountry ski trips and this was the perfect place. Lisa was extremely helpful and accomodating during our visit. We loved the location as we could walk to everything. It is quite uphill to get back home, but not too daunting. The old house is very comfortable and furnished for comfortable living. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking even though we mostly went out. I highly recommend this place!"

"Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably.
