"Charged an extra $600 aud on what was suppose to be $200 aud taxes. Room service for cleaning requires a booking a day prior. They will also bug you withna welcome package which is a timeshare where they insult you and treat you dirt if you say no at the end"

"My wife was raised in Taft, and we've traveled there quite a few times for school reunions and "Oildorado" events. This Best Western was built and opened since our last visit, and is by far superior to any other lodging we have experienced. The facility still has a new look and feel, and the staff with whom we dealt were all helpful and friendly. It did seem to be somewhat under-staffed. Front desk staff, for example, were occupied with other tasks at other places, and the breakfast room was out of certain items. No great deal that, since the breakfast food was horrible. And the area around the BW is, well ... Taft. Oil towns aren't often pretty, and Taft is definitely an oil town."

"Okay so. I am pretty much living out of motels so i have been all in bakersfield and this studio six is by far the best. Motel ive ever stayed at. They are very kind and understanding the rooms are huge and modern. They treat my 74 year old mother like she is there own mother. I truly WISH WE COULD JUST STAY HERE FOR COUPLE MONTHS. STRAIGHT ty so much "
