By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "Absolutely adorable room in a historic building in a charming medieval town. Cozy, comfortable, and clean. Owner graciously welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. Wonderful experience."

"Hotel owners were very courtious and breakfast served was excellent. But for my family who is not used to animals in the house, the dog and cat smell(which they have as pets as it is their home based b&b) was a bit irritating and my son and wife had sneezing due to it. So if you are allergic, be warned. Otherwise it is a very nice place with pleasing owners."

"This is a very nice apartment in a quiet building. Irma was a lovely and generous host. It was not clear from the listing that this was a shared apartment with the host, however I quickly felt at home and enjoyed my stay. Good for a couple or single traveller."

"very nice hotel, beautiful view on the Alps, very reasonable. The restaurant is closed on wednesday, so it is wise to call ahead to make sure the door is open for you in case you arrive at odd hours. We have to share bath room and shower, but it is very clean."

"It's perfect. There isn't much around the immediate area, but you are literally a three min walk from the trains and a 5 min train ride to downtown. Can't beat that. Grocery store right next door too. "

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Bern

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Bern! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a cozy bed and plenty of storage space for clothing. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of Bern's charming Old City, making it easy to explore all the sights. The breakfasts were excellent, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.
